    Just came across this on the Official Site!


    January 14, 2008 – Eagles nominated for BRIT Awards

    Eagles have been nominated for Best International Group and Best International Album for "Long Road Out of Eden".

    The BRIT Awards 2008 will be Live 2/20 @ 8pm on ITV1. Check out the web site at www.brits.co.uk.


    I can't believe it! The show will be on at a civilised time for us Europeans for a change.

    Oh that's fantastic, GA! I'm so happy for the boys. Of course, they MUST win both awards!

    Too bad it won't be screened locally (not to my knowledge, anyway).

    Wow, it's an achievement to get a nomination, with the anti-Eagles ethic that usually prevails with the British press. I may sound pessimistic, but I don't think they'll win. It will be worth watching for the clips. (Remember those Grammy awards clips? )'

    I will not promise Dreamer as the last time I tried to tape something (The Eagles on the CMA's) I got nothing on the disc . I don't want anyone to be depending on me and then I let them down. However I WILL TRY! If I suceed I cand make copies easily enough for anyone who wants them. But its only an 'if it works'
