Welcome Cheryl!
I know Xenia. My father is from Ohio - North Lewisburg, specifically (talk about about a town no one's heard of - population 15 lol). Anyway, whenever we visited my grandparents there driving from Texas, one of the games my family would play in the car would be Geography. We'd take turns naming places that started with each letter of the alphabet, and if you couldn't think of a place which started with that letter, you were eliminated from the game. Once Dad used Xenia for "X", it got used by one of us every single time we played the game.
Ha! It's funny that people I get to know say, "Oh, you're from Xenia. That's the exit from..." and they fill in with either I-75 through Dayton or I-70 through Springfield.
Welcome to the Border, CA! Enjoy yourself, it can be quite interesting!

Welcome to The Border Cheryl. My Dad was born in Bellaire Ohio. I do have relatives back there still. Always visited when I was a kid. All I can remember is how hot and humid it was in the summer time. And all the trees! Enjoy.

Small world DJ. I grew up in Bridgeport, OH about 7 or 8 miles north of Bellaire, OH. It can be very humid in the Ohio Valley in the summer. I was back in that area to spend time with family and friends last week. I don't get out of central OH much during the summer and early fall. My granddaughter plays several sports from May through October.
Welcome!
