Default I Can't Believe It - Longbranch Pennywhistle

I put up an audio clip of the unreleased Longbranch Pennywhistle song "I Can't Believe It" here:

    http://www.glennfreyonline.com/multi...tbelieveit.mp3

The problem is - it was played during a movie scene and there's talking over it. So, I was wondering, should I put up the video clip from the movie, too? Or just this audio clip?

Very cool find, Soda. I'd say put up the video clip. What's the film?

It's called Vanishing Point. I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but it seems pretty awful!

Hmm. That sounds familiar. I'll have to google it.

The movie is a classic! it was remade a few years ago, but the original is awesome!

You should watch 2 lane blacktop too with Dennis Wilson and James Taylor.

Thanks for the advice, BB. Perhaps some girls don't appreciate these road movies as much as we should! I'll give it another look.

OK, just watched the whole thing, and I have to disagree with BB. I found Vanishing Point boring and unsatisfying. The plot had no clear direction. We don't understand why the hero decides to do what he does - why does he run from the police? He hasn't done anything worse than speeding! We don't even know why he's speeding, as he gives no reason for why he must go from Detroit to San Francisco in such a short time. The bizarre incidents that occur on his trip don't seem to have much of a thematic purpose. His flashbacks explain very little and only serve to confuse. The ending was disappointing and pointless, making one wonder afterwards why they just wasted 2 hours of their life watching it.

I don't get its appeal - a 2-hr car chase. I guess if you like to see "muscle cars" outrunning cops this is your movie!

I think the snippet of the LP song was the best thing about it! lol
