Default Joe Walsh & Friends 2nd Annual VetsAid Benefit in Tacoma, WA - 11/11/18

A few videos from last night's show. It looks like Don's backup band were the house band. They played with James, Joe and of course Don.

Hotel California. Don on drums and Joe on stage. Another note. Don got behind the drums at his show in California early this month. Hmm Is Don is going back to playing drums on a few songs in his show? I wouldn't be surprised.

    Joe and James on Steamroller

Turn to Stone and Life's Been Good

Life in The Fast Lane with Joe on guitar.

Ringo and everybody singing Little Help From My Friends. Don jumping. He was having too much fun.

    Walk Away

    The Boys Of Summer

The End Of The Innocence very slow version

    Brothers for life. RIP Glenn

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley

Looks like a good time. Nice to see Don perform outside of the new Eagles. Really liked TBOS. Joe is always great and a great cause.

Thanks for posting about this, shun.

This is such a great cause and I'd love to see Joe continue with it and grow it into an annual event. I thought about going to the first one in D.C. last year, but I wasn't able to. This year's lineup was pretty awesome and I would have loved to have been there.

I would love to go to this too as I don't see it as a pretence to the new Eagles. I wonder if sufficient members were interested could we make a plan some year?

I'd be up for it - would love to get together with my ole concert buddies!

BTW - Love the big screen video during Life's Been Good - I think that's the youngest picture I've ever seen of Joe.

Unfortunately traveling is not possible for me (even moreso now with my health, but that's for another thread), but I'd love to go to this. I've always wanted to see DH solo. I loved it back in the day when the Eagles did more solo stuff in their set. The LROOE tour I got to hear my favorites. I loved the HOTE show, but I did like hearing Don and Glenn's solo material in an Eagles show on the LROOE tour.

I'd be willing to do it. The OCD part of me feels compelled to continue seeing Don solo every odd year (I've seen Don in 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, and 2017). This would be a way to do it without incurring a bad taste in my mouth.
