So weird seeing them perform in broad daylight. Can't have had many non-festival appearances over the years where that's been the case!

Yes but it was only 2 days after the midsummer solstice so we are in the brightest part of the year so far. Reminds me of seeing them back in June 2006 - the sun set as they plaayed. It was amazing

I know - I used to love it getting dark at half 10 and light at 4 when I was back up north! - I was just commenting how odd it was to see! Having a look back they seem to have moved almost exclusively indoors these days - better for sound and atmosphere, but playing Wembley or Lansdowne Road is a lot more iconic for me than doing a generic 90s arena.

This night 10 years ago I was in the RDS to see them on the LROOE tour. It had poured rain all week but the rain stopped on our way to the show and the sun came out by the time the guys took to stage. Then gradually as the night progressed it started to go twilight! The rain started again as we were heading back to the car and didn't stop for the rest of the summer!!

I guess it was an omen, GA. I don't know what message it was trying to send you, but it must have meant something.
