Oh, and what is tinder?

Oh, I laughed out loud at this! I know what Tinder is (an online dating/hookup site), but I can't figure out how/why the Facebook and Instagram photos are different. LinkedIn is business (I have one of those accounts), Tinder is dating. Facebook is family/friends? So how is Instagram different?

I use all but Tinder and use Instagram only occasionally. From what I gather, Instagram is all photos & captions--not much else.

It's a sliding scale.

From most formal to most casual:

LinkedIn (business all the way, at least in front!)
Facebook (a photo your grandmother would approve of, always family friendly)
Instagram (more casual, but not too revealing)
Tinder (try to look as good as possible and "fun").

Instagram is more casual and more of a young person's game than Facebook. Although, it's becoming more and more a place for good info and business pages, but it's kind of like a Snapchat, but better IMO.

You'll notice Twitter is not included. I'm not much of a Twitter fan, especially with the current political climate. It seems to be a cesspit, and mostly overtaken by those types, and more and more older people.

Not a Twitter fan, either... I only use it to follow Bruce Campbell. But I did get a lesson in Instagram this afternoon! (And a list of people to follow.)

LOL, that's funny you said that. I'm using a cane right now while I have a dead foot (not really, but no nerve function). So I guess it'll be a cane duel then?!
