Mine is definitely pretty lame this year, if not already because of the CV concerns, the hip fracture sealed the deal. So I'm basically going to just eat dinner at home, and keep resting and playing guitar in my chair!

Got in before it’s too late... Hope everyone had a lovely Easter! We actually have been on tornado watch all day, off and on, but right now just severe thunderstorms. Still, Jesus is risen!

Hope everyone had a nice Easter wherever you are! We did but it sure was weird not going to a big family dinner after church. Or to sunrise service and church!! At least we got to see our grands hunt for eggs in the yard. The big one found them all and the little one couldn't have cared less!! He is new to walking and wore himself out and climbed up in a chair to rest. He did enjoy eating the chocolate ones though!

We did a couple of egg hunts in our yard on Saturday since the weather wasn't going to be good on Sunday. My three year old grandaughter came over first and hunted for her eggs and Easter basket. The squirrels actually chewed through 2 of her plastic eggs and took out the candy! My 6 and almost 9 year old grands came over a couple of hours later to hunt for their stuff. My youngest grandchild is still a baby, so my son came by on Sunday to pick up his Easter basket. I cooked lots of food and sent Easter meals home with all of them!

Happy belated Easter! It was odd to watch Easter services on tv knowing the Pastor was speaking to empty pews. There was no egg hunt for the first time this year since my kids are now all too big for it. On one hand it makes me sad, on the other I’m relieved to not have to bother with it anymore.

Well, I missed posting this yesterday. Happy belated Easter to everyone. Sounds like everyone made the best of it and were able to celebrate in a small way.
