Holy Shit! Seriously? I have been hoping and pleading with the Rock Gods for an Eagle to make an appearance on his show. I figured if that did eventually happen, that it would be Timothy, but this is awesome too.
This is EPIC. My heart skipped some beats when I saw his Facebook post!!!!!!! I cannot believe it! This is friggin fantastic he mentioned playing live last week.....omg.....do you think?!?!?!??!!! 💓Joe!

Not sure the link works but I just listened to it in the archives. Randy doesn't speak much but he sounds great.
Well, I was sure hoping for a lot more than we got. But I don't believe that Joe would limit him or cut him off. Maybe Randy just wasn't up for an extensive interview. It was great to hear from him anyway, and I'm sure he appreciated Joe's kind words.

YOO-HOO! And we're back with more Joe! First up is the show with Dewey Bunnell (from America) as the guest. Songs of note from that show were Don's "Sunset Grill" and Frankie Miller's "Guilty of the Crime". Otherwise, Joe didn't play any of his own material this week.
And secondly, here's this past weekend's show with guest Randy Meisner! Joe skipped his own catalog again (except for "A Flock Of Wah Wah's"), and before the interview, he answers a listen question about addiction, which makes for a rare serious turn on the show. Always interesting to hear Joe opine on that.
Joe played a couple of Randy's Eagles songs during the interview, so there wasn't much actual dialogue. But it was still pretty cool to hear Randy and Joe reminisce for a bit.

Joe said to Randy, “We’ll do this again, buddy” so I’m hopeful of that.
This was so cool! So happy to hear Randy. As others I wish it was longer, but was way cool! What a gent Joe was with the praise and all. I got my hopes up regarding playing live. Darn! Marjorie’s lil bit about “Joe appears courtesy of his wife” was cute. This episode Joe didn’t speak much otherwise. Great heartfelt answer to Just Ask Joe regarding recovery. I can’t tell how much I dig this show and the bands he has introduced me too! Can’t wait to see what this week brings.
