Sad to hear this morning that toby Keith passed away yesterday from stomach cancer. He was such a great singer/writer and will be missed. My condolences to his friends and family.

So sorry to hear this. He was only a year older than me. But I admit that when I saw him a few weeks ago, I was very concerned to see him so emaciated. I had assumed he was on the mend. Prayers for his family.

I was shocked but not surprised that he died. He fought an amazing battle.

I grew up listening to his music. He had some great songs and some crazy songs.

I read he played three shows in Vegas in December.

RIP Toby. Hes in no more pain.

    Brothers for life. RIP Glenn

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley

I wasn't a big fan of his music but he definitely earned his place in the history of country music. RIP Toby Keith.
