Hey guys, I just got a private message here on the border from "joewalshprivatechats". I didn't open it for fear of a computer virus attached.

But I just wanted to let y'all know that there might be a few spammers still lurking around here.

I did, too. Like on Facebook, if you say something complimentary (even on official pages), a swarm of goons pretending to them want to chat or have an "urgent" message. Like Glenn said to harassing autograph hounds (not fans): "Get a real job"!
I detest all the spam calls and messages.
