Default Don Felder at the Brandon Amphitheater on August 2, 2025 in Brandon, MS

So I just found out from Ultimate Classic Rock article that Felder will be in my neck of the woods next year. He’s touring with Styx and Kevin Cronin. Sounds interesting. I’m thinking about going just to see Styx and Kevin. It’s literally one county over from me (I work in the same county where the Brandon Amphitheater).

Tickets go on sale December 13th.

    Brothers for life. RIP Glenn

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley

If you're going for another reason (Styx and Cronin), and if you also appreciate Felder's mastery of the guitar then absolutely go it's a great show. If you want to hear Eagles songs performed perfectly with good vocals, you might be disappointed. I just went to hear him play the guitar and to see the other bands and I came away very happy. He could be the best Eagles tribute on earth if he'd just hire a singer (or two).

Oh believe me, Austin. I’m not going just to hear him sing Eagles songs. I want to see Styx and Kevin. We don’t always get great names come in my neck of the woods.

Yeah if you're going for that you'll have a great time. He still plays as good as he ever did.
