    Default R.I.P. Jimmy Carter

Former President Jimmy Carter has died at the age 100.

He may have only served one term as U.S. president, but he will most likely be remembered for his humanitarian work. He did so much work for Habitat for Humanity, building houses well into his nineties. Always a humble, kind man, he will be missed by hundreds of thousands of people.

    Thank you, sir.

    RiP President Carter.

He was before my time but everything I've learned about him knows that I would have been in full support of him not only as commander-in-chief but in just being a good human being and a champion for human civil rights. His service extended well past his presidency. I remember when he was on a commercial flight and made a point to go and shake everyone's hand. Can't imagine some former leaders doing that.
