    Default College Basketball - Championship Game

    GO KU! Our hometown team is in the Championship Game tonight against Memphis. We beat North Carolina on Saturday to get a shot at the Championship. Memphis beat UCLA. The town went wild on Saturday and it is buzzing today. Fingers crossed. I'll either be deliriously happy tomorrow morning or deliriously sad

    WE WON 75-68 in overtime. It was a fantastic game. Neck and neck all the way through. To be honest, they both deserved to win they were both amazing teams. Town went wild of course and the University classes were canceled today for the big homecoming this afternoon.

    Thanks everyone. The whole town has been in 'The Twilight Zone mode' for the last several days - everyone smiling and being nice to one another. Alas, I fear we are slowly going back to 'normal mode' now - everyone complaining about the weather, the traffic etc. etc. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.
