Well Stars, if they won't actually perform in concert right now, we'll make sure they are doing it in our dreams!

Yep Stars - loving that dream! Can I borrow it sometimes?

Me too. But I don't want Tim to hurt his back.

And I dream I'm on vacation 'Cause I like the way that sounds,
It's a perfect occupation for me.

He can still have the masseuse, though. If he can find a volunteer.

Had another one! It's more cohesive than some of my others but still doesn't really go anywhere.

I dreamt I'm at a literary conference taking place at an old hotel. The hotel lobby is very old-fashioned - large chandelier, dark red carpet... kind of gothic-looking. It is thronging with people. As I look around trying to figure out where I should go, I see a woman with long dark hair in a bun who's dressed in a red ball gown talking with a big man in a suit. Somehow I know this man is a Russian gangster and the woman knows something she shouldn't. As she marches off, I see him turn to another man and talk to him. The man nods and then follows after the woman. I know this man is going to try and kill that woman and I know I must warn her. I decide there's no time to get help and try to follow, but it's hard to get through the crowd and I lose track of them.

Suddenly I'm on the beach on a dark and windy night with the rain pouring down. My younger sister is with me. We see a boat in the distance and someone being pushed off of the boat in chains. "That's her! They're trying to drown her!" I run towards the water but even as I approach it, her body washes up on the beach. She is now wearing all white. I see she is dead and I feel awful.

Just then police show up to take away the body. They ask me if I saw anything but I get frightened, thinking the Russian mobster will come after me, so I grab my sister's hand and we run away.

The next thing I know I am back at the hotel, in my room, with my sister and mother. My sister suggests we go the zoo to take our mind off things, and she has come coupons. I look at them but they are all expired, except for one that is a "buy one, get one free" coupon for soda.

"That's not good enough. I'll look online for better coupons," I say. And there's where the Eagle part comes in. As I get online, I suddenly get an IM that says "Nancy, this is Glenn, and I need your help!"

For some reason I know this isn't a trick and that it is Glenn Frey IMing me. I type "What do you need?"

He replies "I'm staying at the hotel upstairs and they won't let me leave because of the murder. They think it's unsafe. I've called together a group of scholars to help solve the murder and I want you to be a part of it."

Of course I'm thrilled and flattered. "I'll come up as soon as I get ready," I reply.

"No time for that - come up NOW" he types.

I reply "Sure - be right there" then close the IM window.

I turn and tell my sister and mother what just happened. "Ask him to come to the zoo with us," my mother says. "Tell him we have a coupon for a free drink."

"He can't leave the hotel. Anyway, I've got to hurry and get ready. Shoot, what should I wear?" I'm agitated because I have nothing to wear.

"Didn't he say to come right up?" my sister asks.

"Yeah..." I trail off and realize I will have to go up as I am, in jeans and a sweatshirt. "Well, I can at least take a few minutes to put on some makeup. If he thinks I'm gonna run up there without even putting on makeup, he's delusional." As I put on my mascara, I think "I wonder if Glenn will want me to read Old English. I'm not very good at that..."

Suddenly I'm in Glenn's suite and there are three very old men, all with old-fashioned thick-rimmed glasses, surrounding a table with an old map on it. Glenn is looking at the map, too. When I come in, he looks happy to see me. "Nancy! I'm so glad you're here! We need your help reading this map - it's in Old English."

CRAP! I think, but I keep an appearance of calm and go to look at the map. After all, I do know some Old English. Maybe I can muddle my way through without embarrassing myself. To my astonishment, once I take a look at the map, I can easily read everything on there. It's a treasure map and it has directions on where to find a hidden treasure. "According to this map, the treasure is here," I say, and point to a particular area on the beach. Everyone looks impressed. I'm feeling pretty good.

"But I can't go and get the treasure until this murder is solved," Glenn pouts. "They won't let me leave the hotel until it is safe."

Who are "they"? Why can't he do whatever he wants? He's freaking Glenn Frey! I think, but I figure it would be nosy to ask him about that. Instead, I say, "I don't see why it wouldn't be safe for you to leave. Surely the mobsters won't hurt you. They killed that woman to keep her from talking to the police."

The three old men and Glenn are all staring at me. "You know who did it?" Glenn asks. "How?"

How much should I say? I think. All of them are staring at me expectantly. I swallow hard and say nothing.

"You have to tell us," Glenn says. "Come on, you can trust me."

"I trust you, but it's the Russian mafia - they could come after me and my family!" I cry. "And they could come after you, too."

"No, they won't," Glenn says reassuringly. "Just tell me who did it and I'll take care of everything. You don't need to worry. Just leave it to me. I'll make sure everything turns out alright."

He seems so confident that I decide to tell him all I know. Before I can, however, I wake up! Too bad - I would have liked to have seen the mystery through! Stupid alarm clock.

Seriously! I wanted to know what happened.

And the part where your mom says to tell Glenn that you have a coupon for a free drink cracked me up. Why do I think he would not be impressed?

    I wanted the ending too!

And maybe in your next dream the coupon could be for a free "Nancy" soda...
