    Wow!

They had me at the first scene when Glenn and Don are talking about fans being surprised that they're "regular people." They sounded really down to earth in that clip. It made me smile.

The controversial stuff didn't bother me. I never had any illusions that they were angels. They're a group of talented and ambitious guys who did the best they could to build an amazing band. I didn't live in that pressure cooker of success, money, and drugs. They did. Who am I to judge? I'd rather sit back, marvel at the creative process and be amazed at the quality of the work that came out of it.
    That 1st clip was awesome

You know you have some delicious bugs here about on the Mississippi... Extra Protein thank you very much!!!!-Don Henley- At the St. Louis, MO concert June 2010.

Took a quick glance at it and it in no way comes close to getting the quality and content across. It's worse than screen captures!! Especially with whatever the heck he/she was doing throughout that caused the camera to move around.

I saw this and it looked like whoever filmed it was wearing some sort of pendant that kept swinging forward. That was very distracting.

I think it actually was the lense cap of the camera but regardless it was a needless distraction indeed.

Oooh, okay. Yeah that would make more sense. I kept finding myself looking at that more than the shots of the guys.

I stumbled across Part One being shown on a channel I didn't expect would show it, while flipping channels impatiently waiting for the ads disrupting my Sydney Roosters game to finish. So I saw the last half hour of Part One.

So much has been said already that perhaps I should wait until I see the whole thing before I say anything.

Is it just my DVD that the concert sounds weird? Maybe its my TV speakers but its just this DVD that the sound has a little "rattle" to it. I had noticed it right away on the first song, and then later my wife came in the room and without me saying anything she said "this sounds bad" and I played dumb and said why and she described exactly what I was also hearing. (so im not going crazy!).

    Anyone else?

I'm on Blu Ray / PS3/ Stereo 2.0/ Through Vizio TV Speakers.

I did the Blu-ray with the Stereo sound option through regular TV speakers, which is a Sony. I didn't hear a rattle. I'll listen again later and see.

The last section seemed very rushed. Covering the hall of fame, Felder firing, Sept 11- Hole in the World, Long road out of Eden etc. is a lot to fit into 20 minutes so it was not really explored the way the earlier two sections were.
I really wish they would have put another hour on Part 2 too. They just tried to cover way too much time in one hour, imo. The LROOE era to present is sadly lacking. But that would have also probably made it too long for the theaters, so I can understand their decision. But to us hardcores especially, we want more! I could probably never have enough!

Fp, I'm glad you got to see something!
