on spotify today linda Ronstadt's "desperado" came on. I started crying. I cried like a baby during the bethel show, and when Don started singing "desperado" I lost it. I turned away from my friends b/c I didn't want them to see my tears. I cried b/c I LOVE that song (hence my username) and also b/c the show was over, and November/MSG is still a long way off.
so often times it happens that we live our life in chains and we never even know we have the key.
Aw, desperado, you're not a hard one.Music has a surprising power over us. It's a wonderful thing.

And I dream I'm on vacation 'Cause I like the way that sounds,
It's a perfect occupation for me.
glad i'm not the only o one! remember the song "I'd really like to see you tonight" by England Dan and John Ford Coley? I thought the lyrics were:
i'm not talking about meridian,
And I don't want to change your life.
But there's a warm wind blowing,
The stars are out, and I'd really love to see you tonight
well it's not merdian, it's MOVING IN
boy did I hear that one wrong
thanks for sharing your story about your truck driving friend, and Glen's diner!

Today I went to U-Haul to get yet more boxes. The guy who helped us had light brown / dark hazel eyes. Lion eyes. Lyin' eyes. You see where I'm going with this.

You can't change the world but you can change yourself.
Love it VA. Over here ATM's advise customers to hide their PIN from 'prying eyes'. I frequently think 'there ain't no way to hide those pryin eyes!'
'I must be leaving soon... its your world now'
