I just realized I never put up my dream from the other day! It wasn't hot like Zelda's, but hey, maybe you'll find it interesting!

In my dream, the whole gang going to Glenn Frey concerts with me was involved, regardless whether or not we are actually traveling together. This is because we ARE all traveling together in the dream, riding in my car! It's a glorious Border road trip! Oddly, also coming along were two friends that often join me on Fleetwood Mac trips, Kristin and Tiffany. Although it was impossible to fit us all into my Honda Accord, somehow, it was done. (The magic of dreams!)

The dream starts off with us all pulling into a gas station and my friend Kristin using her card to pay for the gas, telling us she'll keep the receipt and we''ll divide all the costs up in the end. "Good, I'm glad you're doing that," I say, relieved that I don't have to worry about it.

We go into the first Glenn Frey show, but we are sitting far back. We're a bit worried that we won't be able to see Glenn well - but then, instead of Glenn coming out - a screen is dropped and Glenn is projected onto it. Apparently he is performing elsewhere and we will be watching it on the screen rather than really seeing him!

We're all amazed. They didn't say anything about this on the ticket! But hey, we're going to other shows; surely this won't happen again.

We go the next show. We're first row this time, and excited - but the screen lowers again and almost hits us! We actually have to move back to the third row to see the screen without craning our necks. There are people sitting there, but we tell them we'll trade our first row seats with theirs and they foolishly agree. I'm hoping they won't come back after they realize they've been suckered.

"How hard does this suck?!!!" I find myself saying. Everyone agrees.

I decide I'll demand answers. I head towards the backstage area. Somebody needs to explain this screen deal.

There is no one around - no guards, no barriers. Right inside the curtain that separates the backstage, there is a stool with a lot of papers on it. I'm in the process of passing it when I hear a familiar voice say "Where are my lyrics? I've lost my lyrics!" It's Don Henley!

As I turn around to see him, he exclaims, "They're on the stool! Nobody touch them!"

"I'll help you Don!" I say and turn towards the stool again, shuffling through the papers.

"No... wait....I want to look myself! I don't want anyone seeing those!" Don protests, hurrying towards me. I pretend not to hear him because I really want to see those lyrics! How cool would it be to see unreleased lyrics? I could just glance over them quickly before handing them to Don... what harm could that do?

Just as I reach a legal pad that looks suspiciously like it has lyrics on it, Don reaches the stool. Instead of grabbing the lyrics from me, he says sternly, "Nancy, do not read the lyrics. Move away from the stool right now."

"Well, if you put it that way," I say in a pouty voice, moving away reluctantly.

He looks at me and says, "I know you. You have to be outright ordered to do something before you'll do it."

Then he suddenly grins at me. I realize that despite it all, he's not actually mad at me. In fact, as he passes me and gets his lyrics, he's chuckling. "You're such a fangirl." I'm flooded with relief and warm feelings, lol. I'm proud to be a fangirl!

This little episode distracts me from my purpose, as I run back to tell everyone that Don Henley's here! Unfortunately, everyone seems more concerned about the fact that I didn't find out about the screen issue. I go back and find Don again.

"Hey, what's up with these screens?" I ask him.

"This is the last one. The next show won't have a screen," he replies.

"Great, thanks!" I go back to the gang and everyone is satisfied. We try to enjoy the screen-show. It has nice close-ups of Glenn, but the quality is grainy and dark. In fact, it looks exactly like the last concert's show, and I wonder if they aren't just replaying the film. Thank goodness the next show won't be like this!

We all get into the car again and go to another gas station. Kristin once again pays, lol.

The final show is here! We all have great seats and run in, eager to finally have a real show. Sure enough, Glenn comes out himself and before he starts, says, "Sorry about those screens. It was a venue thing." He gives that charming smile of his.

Of course he is instantly forgiven and we're all on our feet, applauding.

    Then I woke up!

I dreamed that Glenn was at my church, sitting on the altar, and then handing out communion.....he was surrounded by people after mass was over, but I managed to touch him and tell him how much I adored him.....after that my sister in law told me she had been in touch with Glenn for years and even showed me letters they had exchanged...and I was VERY jealous and angry she hadn't shared that with me before...
lol..what a strange dream....but he certainly looked quite handsome in a suit and tie....
Awww, this is so sweet, GH! Hahaha, and that's a good one about your sister-in-law - did you tell her about the dream?

Now, I'm going to write out a dream I had a couple weeks ago, but didn't write down at the time.

In my dream, I am at the inner city high school that our university has a special program with. I teach there twice a week, so the dream starts off realistically.

I look down and notice I am naked. I'm so mortified, but the students don't seem to notice. Then I turn around and the Eagles are setting up their instruments at the front of the classroom! Horrified, I look down, but clothes have magically appeared! I am immensely relieved.

They look like they do in the "How Long" video, only in color. I hurry over to them. "Wow, this is so cool!" I exclaim excitedly. "Why are you here?"

"We're trying to appeal to a younger audience," Don answers in a low voice.

Without another word, they start playing "How Long." I hurry over to my students because I see some of them are goofing off. "You better listen carefully to these guys and when they are done, you will applaud whether you like it or not!"

They play the whole song and sure enough, the students applaud enthusiastically. I hope it's because they really liked it and not because I told them to!

The band members all smile and launch into "Busy Being Fabulous." I wonder if they are going to play the whole album. That will be cool lfor me, but will the kids be into it? I would hate for the Eagles to have their feelings hurt if some of the students look bored! So far so good, though. The kids seem to be enjoying it. I pray it continues to be that way!

I woke up before I found out.
Wow, Soda - the ultimate in dreams for you: the Eagles performing in your classroom!

OMG! I have no idea why I dreamed this, I haven't heard this song in a long time.

I was at a venue (no idea where) and Glenn was in concert. He said something like 'And now a song for the ladies', then sang Dierks Bentleys 'Come A Little Closer'. It was his voice, and he sang it with the passion that he sings all songs with. The intense look on his face made the line 'come a little closer' a request. When he sang the line 'come a little closer, I feel like stripping it down' I swear I melted in my seat. By the time he was done, every female in the place was more than a little in love with him. Me, I was toast. I was barely functional. The dream ended when the song ended, that's all the dream was, the song. I had no idea the right man singing a particular song could be so hot.

For those not familiar with the song, here's a link to it on You Tube.
