It's been a while since I've had an Eagles dream worth noting, but the other night, I had a really creepy one! I feel like I've already forgotten bits of it, but I'll put down what I can remember.

In my dream, I am in some kind of underground bunker with Glenn, Don, Timothy, Joe, and several other people including a few other famous people, but lots of average folks, too. I would say there's maybe 100 people. The bunker is huge and has a lot of rooms, but they're all very Spartan. There's some metal tables, metal chairs, bunks to sleep in, but nothing fancy. There's no TVs, radio, internet, or any kind of communication with the outside world. I don't know why we are down there, but I know we can't leave for a while.

Everyone is tense and the atmosphere is unhappy and oppressive. In my dream, I don't even think it's cool to be trapped with the Eagles, lol. Indeed, here, they're not even the Eagles per se, just four other people amongst the others trapped with me. They don't even hang out with each other.

Everyone eats at the same time in the same room. At meal time, I'm sitting at one of the tables with Glenn, Matthew Ashford (an actor), and a guy in a business suit. We're eating in silence. Suddenly, Glenn stands up and starts throwing things, cussing us all out. I can't remember what he said but I remember everyone was shocked and appalled. The guy in the business suit yells at him to leave and he runs off.

Everyone starts trash talking Glenn, but I try to defend him and say he's not like that, that he must be going stir-crazy or something. I look around to see if Don, Joe, and Tim will join me but they don't. They're each sitting at their own tables, and they're all just shaking their heads silently and sighing. Matthew Ashford also suddenly gets up and leaves our table, looking angry.

I think Matthew Ashford must be angry with Glenn, so I follow him to try and calm him down. When I turn the corner, though, I see a flash of some kind of reptilian head on him (kind of like this) but it's only there for a second, then his head turns back to normal.

I back out before he can see me, and I'm freaking out. I think there must be reptilian shape-shifting body snatchers in the bunker who are taking on the form of the people there! That must be the reason for Glenn's behavior - it's not really Glenn! But what are these creatures? What have they done with Glenn and Matthew? How can we know who's real? How can we protect ourselves?! We're trapped with them!

I run back into the dining room and start yelling that there's body snatchers, and try to tell everybody what I saw. The guy in the business suit says "Wow, you'll say anything to defend Glenn. You need a reality check. Accept that he's just a nasty person." I'm floored.

"But I saw Matthew Ashford change into a creature, then back again!" I scream. Everyone believes me about that, and we all rush to find the creature posing as Matthew Ashford. He's still in that room, and we lock him in and barricade the door.

Everyone seems to feel safe now, but I cry, "What about Glenn? We have to find Glenn!" To my astonishment, even after they saw that Matthew Ashford had a monster impersonating him, they don't believe that there is any creature impersonating Glenn. "That's just Glenn. He's like that," everyone keeps saying.

    "No, he's not!" I insist.

"How would you know?" The guy in the business suit asks me.

"Well, how would YOU know?" I counter.

"Let's ask his bandmates," the guy says, but we look around and the rest of the Eagles are milling about amongst the other people in the bunker, ignoring our argument. They look unhappy, but everyone is unhappy in the bunker. They don't seem the least bit concerned about finding out what happened to Glenn. I begin to wonder if I'm wrong after all, but then I remember that reptile head on Matthew Ashford! The fake Matthew was acting angry. It makes sense that the "Angry Glenn" was also a fake.

I give up arguing. I decide it's up to me to find and rescue the real Glenn. Somehow I know he is still alive somewhere in the bunker. I run through the bunker, which has suddenly gotten darker and seems to have an endless number of rooms. I finally get to one of those Spartan bedrooms and I see Glenn standing there, alone, his back to me.

I start to say something to let him know I'm there but then I stop at the doorway... is this the real Glenn, or is it the monster impersonating Glenn? I realize with horror that I have no way to know! If it's the creature, I could be in trouble - but if it's Glenn, I don't want to leave him alone. I have to let him know there's a monster out there impersonating him. Even worse, maybe the monster did something to him and he needs help. He doesn't look hurt, but he's standing very stiffly... is it really him or not??

I'm not sure what to do. I just stand there staring at his back, trying to figure out how to tell if he's the real Glenn or not. I guess he hears me breathing, because he abruptly turns around and looks me right in the eyes. He looks unhappy, but again, we're all unhappy in the bunker. My heart is in my throat, but I don't run. I have to know if it's really him. He opens his mouth to say something...

But then I woke up - freaked out!

Well, I was listening to After Hours as I fell asleep.... but I really can't fathom a cause/effect there, unless it just injected Glenn and the Eagles into the dream randomly.

I like the happier ones better, too. At least nobody died!

Yeah Soda - that was fun to read, but VERY weird. Must be coming upon Halloween season or something.

I had an Eagle dream last night...there's not much that I remember but...my sister was getting married and she and I were out wedding gown shopping...we went into this really big bridal store and who was the guy waiting on us?...none other than Timothy B...well it wasn't him...just looked like him...he had on black pants white shirt some kind of tie and a black vest...and he was also a wedding gown designer...so all the gowns he kept bringing out for my sister to look at were his designs...and man they were ugly...but my sister fell in love with one of them...big pouffy skirt and royal blue beading all on the bodice...really bad...I remember saying to her.."you like this one?"...and she said "oh it's the one"...until she saw it was $8000!...Mr. Wedding Gown Designer kept showing us more...and she didn't like any of them...she wanted the one with the blue beading...I remember thinking how tedious this was ugly gown after ugly gown after ugly gown...but at least he's cute...but he's probably gay!...lol....she really wanted that ugly gown and I'm sitting there thinking to myself...gee I wonder if there's anything I can do to get this guy to lower the price?...hmmmm....well that's all I remember ....don't know if she ever got it or not...
