I think of it as the opposite. I think having him up there when he's a great lead player and with no lead to play just strumming along isn't really fair either. And they both (Felder and Stu) can't play at the same time the same parts.I think it would be better to have him up there when he needs to play rather than just being an accompaniment off to the stage strumming along with nothing to play. I think that would be more unfair. And as I said, they both can't play those parts, having two Felder parts and one Walsh part doesn't sound right to me.
I can't speak for him obviously but if I was Stu, I wouldn't be too happy with the notion of standing off to the side just strumming along doing nothing, I'd much rather leave the stage for that time and come back out when I'm needed.
If (and I do mean if) Felder shows up, I think him leaving the stage would be the only option I think. I'm sure he doesn't want to just stand there doing nothing. My guess is that if Felder (or any former member) would play with GF and DH, it'd be for a few select songs and not a whole show and I'd bet you Felder would make an appearance on HC and maybe another song where his solo was the main part (OOTN comes to mind) and that's it. Then Stu would play the rest of the show.
Again, just my guesses/thoughts. I guess we won't know til the tour info becomes more available and things are released.
I agree with you Austin, on that IF Felder did show up, he would only play a few select songs where he's prominent and that's it. and i for one, would be THRILLED with even that!!! Gee, why can't grownups behave like grownups and just get over all this stupid crap?!?! Negativity is such a waste of time and energy.

My mind is Tiffany twisted
I don't wish to keep harping on this subject, but when I see things like this, it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I feel it makes Don look petty and childish. I get it--you guys parted on bad terms but let's try to take the higher ground and at least say his freaking name. No one's asking you to hug him or blow him a kiss.
I'm ok with that. It's actually one time more than I would of expected, to be honest. And I'm not so sure he would have spoken then had Don not pulled him into the conversation. And that was cute!Originally Posted by Freypower

While I totally agree with this, I've learned the hard way that people will be people. Makes us all different and therefore interesting, but if I could wave a wand and make certain people learn about forgiveness I'd start a lot closer to home, so to speak! Seriously, I've taught classes on the subject and IMO, this is one of the hardest things for people, if not the hardest. It takes a lot of work just to get to where you want to forgive someone, and when someone really hits you where it hurts it's a lot harder. There's a lot of people who feel their hurt and anger are justified and don't feel they even need to try to forgive. As Don himself sang, "You keep carryin' that anger, it'll eat you up inside." (Being the passionate Eagles fan I am, I used this song in my Sunday School classes!)

Well, I'm one that would love to see Felder do his parts such as on HC and OOTN, if he would show up. I still don't see that happening. Forgiveness is one thing, but the lawsuit hits below the belt. You can forgive some things, but you don't usually forget completely. Money talks very loudly and I'll bet it's very, very loud in this case.
I would be absolutely shocked if Felder is even asked.
