Thank you Soda and VA for clearing that up very politely. I've only watched it the one time (keep missing it the other times it's aired) and at this point, after reading everything here, I keep wondering if I actually saw some of the things we've talked about or if I'm imagining them, etc....

He sings it high, he plays it low
Watching it again now. Anyone else notice in the beginning (about nine minutes into it) when they're talking a little bit about it starting to go wrong, they show the guys giving a bow. It's at the 1977 DC concert, but they're playing the audio from the end of Long Night at Wrong Beach? The back and forth between Glenn and Felder? I noticed it before and meant to mention it. Talk about 'poetic license'... Especially when they have footage from that night, even if it's not perfect. Since the '77 concert will have eight songs released in the DVD, how many people will be watching it and think..."hard to believe at the end of this concert they said the things they said" Stuff like this drives me crazy...

I saw you guys mention that footage/audio discrepancy earlier in the thread and, although I haven't seen the doc yet, I know it will bug me! It just seems a bit unnecessary... surely they could have found some footage from the era they are talking about? As you said, VA, a lot of people will just assume that that show is when the audio took place.

So based on frey because felder heldout he is the only "asshole in the band"? So you either agree with Frey that he deserves more money or he labels you an asshole. Anyone that thinks frey isnt a little to egotistical is mistaken.
Thank you for pointing out that I'm mistaken. I appreciate it. However, I still don't think he's TOO egotistical. I think it's just the right amount of ego, given everything. In quite a few other threads on this board we give him a hard time for putting himself down so much. However, this is all just my opinion and I'll refrain from saying what I think about those who disagree with me.
