    I think it's very sweet. Despite how it ended, Don Henley has said that Glenn was always encouraging to Randy, trying to coax him to sing and reassure him that he could do it, to the point where Henley actually thought Glenn was being over-tolerant. Remember, it was Glenn who wanted Randy to sing TITTL. Back in the beginning, they were smoking pot behind Johns' back while Don Henley and Bernie Leadon were paired off disapproving of the drugs and writing "Witchy Woman." Glenn gave his song "Most of Us Are Sad" to Randy to sing on the first album.

    People focus on that last fight, but really, Randy was probably closer to Glenn than he was to anyone else in the band, at least at first.
