One of the people I (informally) do taxes for has decided to get me the DVD as a thank-you gift. I, of course, thought that was an excellent idea! This is the same guy (my former boyfriend, the guitarist) who gave me a 2008 Eagles tour hat a couple of years ago. We might have broken up more than 20 years ago, but he still knows me well!

I can't imagine wearing those coats in the desert though!

well the desert gets cold too. It snows in Joshua Tree. Death Valley's high in the winter months is usually in the 60s. it's only super hot in the summer. Of course all the times I've been to the desert were in July! 120 degrees! and I hiked. I don't recommend that though ...it nearly killed me...literally. (Long story.) but hey at least I got some awesome photos!

So anyway, they probably shot those photos in the cooler months.
If I can't have it all, just a taste will do...

What a completely horrid review, yet I laughed the whole way through it! The woman is in the wrong business, she's funny.

Maybe we should take a poll. I LOVE the Eagles (I bet none of you knew that), and I also LOVE beans and really LOVE beets. Although golden ones sound revolting.

She is pretty funny. My favorite line: "Following the release of Hotel California, the Eagles began to realize that they hated each other almost as much as I hated them."

Don't hold back, Sarah. Tell us how you really feel.

Mistake Number One: Levon Helm never had an Afro.

'Only one of them was from the south; Don Felder doesn't count'. Why not? He was from Florida (I also don't agree that they sing in southern accents, but I'm not American).

The crack about Henley telling Frey how more successful he (Henley) was as a solo act when they are in the same room is beyond pathetic & negates the (almost) nice things she says about Frey's career. I have to say; it is rare to find a writer who appears to hate Henley more than Frey. What a maverick. What a free spirit.

    Juvenile, self-indulgent garbage.

You know, I may have thought this was funnier, if they weren't trying so hard. But, unlike the takedown I saw of the Les Mis movie a few months ago, this had very little real wit in it.

And I may be a dumb New York City girl, but I always thought cowboys were from the Southwest. Places like. I don't know, Texas maybe?

With Texas it depends how you look at it because it was part of the Confederacy & therefore it counts as 'the South'. But it's Southwest too, isn't it? I'll shut up now as I don't want to step on any toes!

Trivia; Glenn once said 'I'm from the East, Detroit' where Michigan as far as I know normally gets 'Midwest' attached to it.
