That may have been my scanner's fault... I can't remember! Will look at the magazine again when I get back home next week. Totally agree that cowboy boots are hot and should be shown at all times.

Eagles Fastlane (on facebook) has the release date. It was on November 19th, 1982. Bam magazine? I have never heard of this one before. They have the whole article on EF webpage as well.
