That is true, shun - only Felder was an add-on.

MC, from all the accounts I've ever read, Timothy did not want to sing Randy's songs when he joined the band. I think he probably wanted to pave his own way in the band rather than to just be looked at as Randy's replacement. I agree with you that Timothy is a tough cookie. He has a mild-mannered demeanor, doesn't want to always be the center of attention, but yet doesn't seem to be easily intimidated. It is this combination of traits that makes him a perfect fit for the band, IMO. I don't know how long it took him to get acclimated in the Eagles, but I suspect it wasn't very long. If I'm remembering correctly, the band was out touring again within a few months of him joining.

That's right, my bad. I got confused because he played with them as a special guest when Bernie was still in the band.

    A couple of small things:

The UK DVD version shows interviewees names as captions whereas the version shown by the BBC didn't. They weren't really necessary as the film was constructed in such a way as to make it obvious who everyone was but obviously someone made the decision not to take any chances.

After multiple viewings, this time I realised that during the part where Irving Azoff gets introduced and Glenn is shown answering the phone, he answers with "Teen King and the Emergencies".

I usually have my CC on all the time on my tv and they do have who's saying what on tv, but I don't know about the DVD.

I remembered that part, UTW. I had wondered what he was saying. All I heard was Emergencies.

Both the television version and the DVD released in the U.S. have the names appear for the interviewees.

And Teen King and the Emergencies was actually one of the early names considered for the band. One of Glenn's nicknames, bestowed upon him by Linda Ronstadt, was Teen King. Another name considered was The Small Frey Band. Thank goodness neither of these names made the cut - I'm thinking Eagles was the better choice.

I remembered every time I watch that clip, I was wondering why he was answering by saying, Something and the Emergencies. I couldn't heard the whole phrase. Now I know what he was saying.
