Today's LA Times interview with Don Henley was posted in the pre-anticipation thread, but I thought I'd put it here, too. A couple of new songs on this leg of the tour...I'm hoping for VoL and How Long!

Posted my initial thoughts on this in Don Henley press thread I think but have one more comment re:

'But it's reasonable to expect that someday, in the not-too-distant future, the "classic rock" generation of performers will cease touring. But not just yet — not while so many people still want to come to our shows and we're still making them happy.'

He surely realises that the Eagles aren't only appealing to original fans but continually garnering new ones, via Hell Freezes Over, then LROOE, then the documentaries, etc. I don't see the demand running out any time soon only increasing.

There was an article in the L A Times a couple of days ago about the May exhibit at the Grammy Museum. The exhibit will be about the Laurel Canyon music scene in the late 1960s & early 1970s.
