Walsh Worship: The Joe Walsh Photo Thread (Nov. 2006 - Oct. 2009)

There is another thing you guys might start looking for when dissecting Joe <LOL> in pictures.

When playing concerts indoors, Joe often has one of those light sticks...the kind that you bend and it starts it glowing. He usually has one hanging from his belt.

When asked about that, he said that they just look cool. But then he backed up and said that he really did use them to help see in the dark before the spotlights hit him to keep from tripping over cords and stomp boxes and his own feet. I doubt that Joe would need a light to illuminate his guitar...I think he could play that thing blindfolded.

I've gone back and looked at some of the pics from live performances and haven't seen one. Might not use one on the LROE tour because of the suits, but I'll bet you'll spot one if you look at enough pictures.

You posted that "other" pic of the King Bees that you couldn't see Joe in. I finally found the one where you CAN see him.

I just quoted the post you'd made quite some time ago.

And, I couldn't resist including the other one. I have to intersperse some of those to keep me coming back to this thread <LOL>

I got inspired by TF's myspace search and did a little scouting myself and here's SOME of what I found!!!

At the show in Chicago I thought Joe was wearing those shoes that have blinking lights in them. We were in row 20 but I had binoculars. I had Hubby look but he didn't know (or care). I finally cinvinced myself that what I was seeing were the lights reflecting off the tops of his shoes. But maybe I was wrong, although I don't think those shoes would help him see in the dark.
