That's an important point - I definitely think we tend to prefer the versions we heard first. I heard Sky Blue and Black acoustic before I heard the original and it is still my favourite. The raw emotion is just so beautiful and still moves me.

Any song that transports you to a different place and time is magical. That's the power of music. Most of the artists I love are able to do that in their songs.

I've got a question about the song "The Times You've Come" for the For Everyman album. Who is the girl singing harmony with Jackson? I always thought it was Linda Ronstadt but I think I might be wrong. Anyone know?

Yup, and of course Glenn does harmony on the lovely Red Neck Friend.

That is a great album. I love the way some of the songs lead right into the next one, for example Sing My Songs To Me leads right into For Everyman.

I know! That's 2 hours from me, but it's still the Acoustic Tour.

SG says he has a band with him, Brooke. I'm 2 hours from there too...in the opposite direction! It would be great if we could meet up!

SG, was he taking requests like he does during his solo accoustic shows, and did the band play on every song?

He was taking requests. He would pick up a guitar, and someone would call out a song, and he would say, That sounds good. He'd put the guitar back and go to the piano. The band did play on every song I think. Sometimes one guitar, sometimes two. Sometimes a keyboard. And a few songs with Sarah Watkins and her brother. I highly recommend this show. But then again, I would recommend anything Jackson does!

Well, I was working today at 10:00 a.m., but tried to order tickets through the Jackson Browne site presale approx. 10:10 and they were already sold out of 2 seats together. I am furious! This is exactly what happened to us with the presale for the upcoming (Aug. 14) Indy show! So I guess once again I will be watching the broker sites and waiting for tickets to come down enough to be able to afford them. This just burns my that this is allowed to go on! What is the secret? How are these people able to continually get the best seats and then put them up for sale for 5 times the face value??!!??? I am a fan who actually wants to SEE the show, but all these people want to do is make a buck off of fans like me!!!
