Just back from a productive trip to my favorite local record store. My haul, for under $35:

Glenn Frey Live (SQUEE!! They finally had it!)
Almost Famous DVD
Goo Goo Dolls - Dizzy Up The Girl (recommended by my daughter)
Goo Goo Dolls - A Boy Named Goo (also recommended)
10000 Maniacs - Our Time In Eden
The Wallflowers - Breach

All except Analog Man are used, but appear to be in relatively good condition.

Now I don't know who to listen to on the way home - Joe or Glenn!

Wow WE you did great for $35...you'll love the Goos...although I'm prejudiced..they're from Buffalo...and 10000Maniacs are from Jamestown..about a half an hour away... oh and I guess you'll probably like the stuff from those first two guys you listed too!

No - my parents live in Houston. I'm going to see them and then we're all going to take a family vacation! My parents, my little sister, and I are all flying out to the UK together for a two-week trip. I'll be off-board for a while as a result, although I may pop onto the internet every now and then depending on wireless availability.

Don't forget me when I'm gone!

Besides loving all of the obvious, I absolutely LOVE the Goo Goo Dolls. I lived in Buffalo for about a year, in the height of their fame and they sauntered in a bar/restaurant one night, that I was working at. The most down to earth 'non-star' stars I've ever met! Unfortunately, this was before the days of cell phones with cameras. Heck, I didn't even have a cell phone. Anyways... their music is amazing. I still listen to it. I also love the Wallflowers. Great choices!!
