I've never even heard of Everyday People. On the one hand, it's a bummer that he's replaced original material with a cover; on the other hand, it's something different.

Joe started performing Everyday People last year, Take It To the Limit replaced it in his set list. It could be a coincidence that he's brought it back just as the UK voted to abandon it's European friends. Some of Trump's inflammatory comments and current state of global terrorism may have influenced the decision to reinstate it in his set list too.
I've listened to Everyday People loads of times since it became a Walsh song. I'd say it's my favourite one chord song.
I suppose I should repost the link to Joe's band's version. As the only male backing singer, I'm sure it's Ricky Washington on lead vocals.

Dale Peters, the writer, bassist and lead singer of this James Gang song is embarrassed by this hippy hymn but it's worth listening to, just for the stunning Walsh guitar. Joe played keyboards when they performed it live.
The lyrics maybe a little preachy/cringey but sadly, there are still many people around today who could learn a thing or two from the song's sentiments.
It's a great song Dale!;
The James Gang - White man, Black Man

White man, Black man
Listen to me, hear what I've got to say
You've got to learn to live together
Right now, right away
Before it's too late
Before it's too late
Black man forget the hate that's been around for so long
White man you've got to know that sometimes you've been wrong
About your brother 'cause he's a good man
You know he's just like you
The time's gonna come
The time's gonna come
Before it's too late
Before it's too late
Sometimes I get the feelin' that it's never gonna end
When a brother and a sister somehow become friends
To love each other is a good thing
And to know is to love
You've got to love one another
You've got to learn to live together
You've got to love one another
You've got to learn to live together

This is a good video of Walsh performing Rocky Mountain Way with Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band. The video is not dated, but it's from 1989. There's also a full video of the entire concert on YouTube if anyone is interested.
In the performance, Walsh looks a bit buzzed, but it doesn't affect his singing or guitar playing. He just looks a bit sleepy.
I also found an old video of Walsh's Life of Illusion, a favorite song of mine. It's from 1997 and in a .flv format (Adobe Flash) so the quality is mediocre. Still, I felt the video warranted posting because it includes Walsh playing trombone, beginning around 1:55. Interestingly, I recall he played the clarinet and oboe in, I believe, junior high. Wonder when he picked up the trombone?

I got curious about the trombone and started googling around and found a few references to him playing the instrument. Apparently, he picked it up at around age 12 and played it for a short time before moving on. Below in an excerpt from a recent article:
EDGE: Guitar. What led you to pick up a six-string?
Walsh: I was about 12. I was fartin’ around with stuff like clarinet, trombone for a little while, and, well, I first started on a ukulele because my aunt bought me one. All my influences really existed between 1953 and 1960. All the pre-English invasion rock and roll from the very beginning, and all the doo-wop and wonderful records that were made during that time period. The guitar was one of the major vehicles for all of that music.

Joe miming the trombone is a scandalous accusation :p
I think it's Joe playing the trombone on Last Good time In Town. It's one of the dozens of questions, I'll be too dumbstruck to ask, if I ever meet him.
Joe's sorta, both a serious pro and enthusiastic amateur musician. If you check out the Eagles HFO version of You Belong To The City, Joe plays the drums.

Nice interview. 8) The interviewer seems to ask just enough questions--to let Joe talk and complete his thoughts. I've listened to the Howard Stern interviews--among others--and Joe hardly gets a chance to finish his sentence before the next question interrupts him.
I do hope since Joe's lovin' this band that he gets inspired to do some new recordings!

A really good (and instructive) interview. I like how he explains about setting the parameters for his band in rehearsal so they can improvise and how this way of doing things is different from the Eagles without dissing the Eagles. And the bit about not letting you emotions get in the way - I think a lot of people would be surprised by that.

Agreed! But improvising is more difficult than playing by the book. That said, on Walsh's current tour Waddy is probably the king of improvisation. He's such a gifted musician and an in-demand session guitarist. (Well, he's also more than a session guitarist.)
And the bit about not letting you emotions get in the way - I think a lot of people would be surprised by that.
Joe's Buddhism, undoubtedly. I also love his tee shirt that says "Don't Believe Everything You Think," which, I believe, is also consistent with not letting your emotions control you. :)

Thanks for posting the link WalshGirl. I've seen In The City and Rocky Mountain Way so many times but I really enjoyed viewing it.
Interesting to see In The City with horns, 20 odd years before the Eagles started doing it, and RMW with Dylan's, Everybody Must Get Stoned or Rainy Day Women whatever it is, with a wafer thin Ricky Washington on vocals, if I'm not mistaken. He's back in Joe's 2016 "Toor" band.
Wonderful to see the late great Ian Wallace on drums too. I attended a UK, Don Henley concert, in 1989. During his band introductions, name checking guys (and gals) from all corners of the USA, Don went over to the drums to ask Ian which part of the England he was from, "Bury" reiterated Don. My jaw hit the floor! Worldwide superstar Don Henley just mentioned, one of the local towns, a handful of miles from where we had traveled from to attend the concert.
Like all British musicians, working overseas around the 60s and early 70s, Ian usually said he was from Liverpool :p
About the time of this gig, Joe made a wonderful album (Old Wave) with Ringo Starr. The best track on the album is a cover of She's About A Mover, a track Joe says he used to play before he was famous and it has some great interplay with Joe's guitar and, what I presume to be, the same horn players that are on this video.
Thanks again WalshGirl :grooving:

And thank you for all that information--all of it new to me!
I did not recognize the song at the end of Rocky Mountain Way, nor did I know the drummer's identity. And what a nice story about him. Thanks!
I looked up Ringo's Old Wave album on Wikipedia. Interesting stuff. I'll check out the album on YouTube. Not only did Joe help produce it, but he also helped author several of the songs on the album. And, as you know, he later did his own version of In My Car.
I loved Joe's performance on the video. He was at his best. :) Would love to find the concert on DVD, but so far I've had no luck on eBay.
1983 was a busy concert year for him (27 concerts (http://www.setlist.fm/search?query=joe+walsh&year=1983&artist=23d6b8b7)), undoubtedly because of his release of You Bought It--You Name It. I do wonder if he did other songs, like I Can Play That Rock and Roll, Shadows, etc., on the Hot Live '83 tour.

"On December 8, 2016 the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) presented legendary guitarist Joe Walsh with its Founders Award, an honor given to artists who have made outstanding contributions in popular music"
Here's some footage from the event. Mostly speeches but there's some music towards the end. There's a pretty good write up, including a nifty set list to look out for. Good to see so many kids bopping away in the audience, which explains Joe's "passed their bed time" comment.
Performances name checked;
Joe Walsh, Dave Grohl (Bass) and Taylor Hawkins (Drums): (“Lost Woman” and “Walk Away”),
Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Noah Hunt: (“All Night Long”and “Turn To Stone”),
Paul Rodgers: (“Pretty Maids All In A Row” and “Life In The Fast Lane”),
Robert Randolph: (“I Can Play That Rock ‘n’ Roll”),
Todd Rundgren: (“In The City” and “Life's Been Good To Me So Far”),
Joe, Ringo, Paul Allen, KWS & the house band: (“Rocky Mountain Way”),
All Star jam: (“Funk 49”).

It's been good to see Joe playing set lists closer to twenty songs rather than closer to ten. I suppose he'll be back to around a dozen on the Petty tour.
I thought there was a chance that Felder may re-enter Joe's life during the last week. Don's said he's made several attempts to reach out to his former Eagles buddies, over the years, and it looked to me like an opportunity had presented itself this month. Unless it was a private affair, I presume that they remain unreconciled, for the time being.
There's a smattering of Vegas videos on YouTube. I still enjoy watching Joe (and his great band) perform his 70s dependables. No real set list surprises though.

I love Laguna Salada :rockguitar: .
I think it was originally one of the bands, on-stage instrumental jams. , I believe the band worked on it just after their first album, Yer Album was released ("When's yer album coming out?").
The other James Gang track, from the soundtrack, Country Fever features the vocals of Kenny Weiss. Kenny was hired by the band to ease Joe's load as singer, guitarist, keyboardist, everything apart from the rhythm section. Three weeks after recording the song, the band arrived at the movie shoot without Kenny. Band leader, Jim Fox said "his fifteen minutes of fame were up in fourteen". In the movie Joe pretends to sing the vocal.
Some of the incidental music is The James Gang too.
Both of The James Gang's Zachariah tracks are on the awesome MCA 2000 James Gang Greatest Hits CD. :smokin:

Ok, well now that makes sense. I watched the clip with them performing Country Fever and was wondering what was up. It didn't sound like Joe and most of the time it looked like nobody was singing but you heard the vocal, lol.

Joe will be on the road for 3 months with Tom (and a few shows by himself in between). So this will give Deacon time to get use to playing (and maybe singing) in front of an audience especially if you're playing in front of a huge crowd in a big venue.

Tom is the A-list, A-list guitarist in Nashville. He also owns a second hand guitar store called 2nd Gear Music in Nashville. If you go to allmusic.com and type in his name, you'll see he's played on damn near every big country record in the modern era starting back in the early 2000s. Awesome guy. He turned me onto a particular guitar pedal for overdrive that I thank him dearly for. It's awesome.
Recently he's been playing guitar for Vince Gill. I assumed that's how Joe learned about him because Vince and Joe are close. But maybe it was Vitale.
I was excited to see Tom with Joe, maybe I'll be able to visit with him at the Petty show in May I'm going to. He does less sessions now than before, because there is new young blood there and he isn't as dependent on them.

I think Taylor wants to be an actress. Otis might later down the road. I do think its cool Deacon is following in his father's footsteps. Glenn is probably smiling down on him. Even if Deacon is probably being prepped for the festival with joining Joe's band(or it could be his own decision to ask Joe to be in his band. I don't know the real reason), Glenn is probably happy and I loved that Joe has Deacon in his band. He's not a bad guitar player and Deacon's got a great mentor to help him. We know how you feel about Deacon Frey's late father, but for you to now leap on his son with comments like this is below the belt. In your first comment instead of mentioning him you whined about the absence of Wachtel. You will no doubt say that you were criticising the song, not Deacon, but it is irrelevant to what is being discussed (see below).
As I said in the Eagles 3.0 thread, however, Deacon's presumed presence with the Remnants does not affect my opinion of it at all, except that I wish him luck & perhaps feel that he could possibly be exempted from sneering criticism when he is still so young.
Oh and by the way, in my view Get Over It is even more relevant in these days of 'snowflakes' and 'butthurt'. I hear the phrase used every single day, and I see it implied on this board every day. I would however rate the chances of the song being played as zero.

I really don't get why he would sing GOI anyway. Don has always sung it as far as I know. If he sings, I would think he would sing one of Glenn's songs.
Deacon did sing GOI when he played the House of Blues show in LA with Glenn. That's what that reference was.

FP - TY for the link to the video. I have not seen it in a very long time. I was just wondering if Deacon's voice has changed since he was so young then. Glenn was such a proud Daddy in that video. So sad to think that he died so young and his kids were so young.

Here's Joe in action at a corporate show with Glenn in 1997.
Part 1 has Walk Away, Peaceful Easy Feeling and New Kid In Town.
Part 2 has Part Of You, Part Of Me / Take It Easy and In The City
It's a great video and a pretty good performance. Just enough crowd to exhibit the audience excitement.

It's puzzling why this has never been one of the several Greatest Hits / Best Of albums that Joe has released.
It's the original The Warriors Soundtrack version of In The City. Not quite as good as Eagles version imho but it's still one of Joe's top, post joining the Eagles, tunes.

There's another similar video of the same song with some very unpleasant clips included :censored:

I can tell you about the Party Boys because I saw it. It was Joe & some Australian musicians on one tour. The Australians included the late Dragon singer Marc Hunter(although he was actually a New Zealander), and guitarist Kevin Borich. I can't remember the year - it may have been 1986. So it was one tour. If there was an American equivalent of the Party Boys I don't know the details (Also remember the first time I saw Joe his band was called the Creatures From America).

I think that was during the Party Boys tour which was in 1986. Soda knows the Joe/Stevie timeline better than I do.
They were good shows, especially Creatures From America where I got to hear him sing Will You Love Me Tomorrow, but he was totally out of it.

Stevie claims she was the one who broke up with Joe, but it was indeed during that time period. Here's her story (C&Ped from the Stevie and Joe thread (https://www.eaglesonlinecentral.com/forum/showthread.php?p=65935)):
"What happened at the end was I was getting ready to cut two songs with Waddy Wachtel producing and we only had two nights to rehearse and Joe had been off in New Zealand or something and he came down about one or two in the morning or something and he was real good friends with everyone in my band. That would have been fine any other night but I was really angry with what Joe had done because he completely screwed up that session. He just had everyone dying laughing because he just tells a hundred jokes and everyone was just rolling in the floor laughing and I was going “this is not fair” because he is not being sensitive at all to this whole situation and “you know I would give up anything for you, even my dammed career for you if he was serious enough."
I had a limousine and I asked Joe if he wanted to take me home or me to come home with him and he said, “Well, I didn’t tell you this but I’m leaving for Australia like tonight and I have to pack, so I’m just going to get a ride home with Waddy.”
And I said “Ok” and started walking towards the door, and I turned around and said, “Joe I don’t like where this relationship is going 'cause it’s not going anywhere and I don’t want to do it anymore.” And I started walking towards the door and he said, “Well, you know, if you walk out the door, you basically cease to exist.” And I just didn't stop walking."

I have to admit this, as much as I hate to (about the tearing up part). :hilarious:
While watching one of the LBG clips, I teared up watching Joe really into it and having fun.
Thinking about how happy I am that he is sober and healthy and happy. He really looks amazing and is truly playing better every day, which is amazing because he was always a great guitarist. I look at the photos and videos in the 90s and it makes me sad, even the ones where he is playing good... HFO was when he was starting to come around but some of those solo late 80s/early 90s pictures make me so sad to think we might have lost him. I'm so glad Joe got sober and I hope that one of these years I might actually meet him and tell him how much his music means to me. He's such a nice person I think and IMO the funniest rockstar out there. He really comes across as having no ego and an Ordinary Average Guy, as the song says.
I absolutely agree, Austin!!! I ran across a site that has notes that Joe has posted with replies about a lot of different things, including something I never knew.....he lost his only daughter to a freak car accident in '74 and he tells how writing a couple of songs helped him deal with the grief:

Thanks for the link, Austin. I am so happy that Joe got his act together before it was too late. He definitely had a very troubled life and never managed to have a stable relationship most of his years as evidenced by his 5 marriages. He married his second wife - Emma's mom, Stephany, in the early 70's and their relationship couldn't survive the strain of Emma's death. Then, in the early 80's, he married Juanite (Jodi) and their daughter, Lucy, was born in 1982. That marriage didn't last because of Joe's increasing addiction. He met his fourth wife, Denise, in rehab. They have two sons, Alden and Emerson, and married in the late 90's. Unfortunately, this marriage didn't last either. But, finally, as a recovering addict, Joe seems to have found true happiness and appears to have met his soulmate in Marjorie. They married in 2008 and seem to still be going strong. As I've said many times, he is such an inspiration to those suffering from addiction and proof that life is so much better once you are sober.

Thanks for posting this rarity.
"The Friend Song" was the song he played at the event held in honor of Glenn, I believe. I wonder who Joe was thinking of here?
Sadly, "Indian Summer" is not really in this video - it gets cut off. I guess the videographer wasn't a fan, lol. Too bad. I love that song and Joe's voice was really strong when he started singing it.
Joe's "Desperado" never did much for me. He never can remember the words quite right or nail the melody. However, it has heart, which is the most important ingredient.
(The kid crying in the audience is 27ish now! lol)
He looks rough and by all accounts was in pretty bad shape then, but he could still perform!

I totally agree Soda. I wish Indian Summer wasn’t cut, and yes he is looking rough and frail. So sad, yet he still brought it when performing. I’ve looked up who Friend Song was written for but haven’t been able to find that out. It always makes me tear up and watching this made it that much easier to. Desperado...maybe because I adore Joe so much so I’m biased, but I like his spin on it and voice is strong here. The kid crying ha ha I can’t imagine. Lol. That would be my luck. I wonder if there was more songs because the original poster says He was walking down the street and came upon this.

It’s the same show that featured Joe and Jack Bruce doing “White Room” and Joe doing “Life’s Been Good”. I never saw this part though. The interviewer is good too, he doesn't cut him off, or rush it so it flows well. I hate when interviewers rush through and don't let the artist speak.

Love to look at Joe's videos. Hope he does more like "Boys" I love his expressions especially his eyes. There is a YouTube with him in it at Ringo's induction into the Hall of Fame He's in Paul's video about 1:39. The camera is going to the dressing rooms when you hear Joe Say "My grandfather used to do that" As the camera comes around the corner Joe is talking with Paul and Joe starts into this thigh slapping, hand clapping and foot stoping routine. It is good..Such talent.

(Share..from youtube.. copy link) but then format it to mimic the example in the insert video clip. I might not be explaining this clearly but my kindle wouldn't post vids correctly to the forum until I realized this and adjusted accordingly. For example,
https://you.tube/XTK3NzarK-A
(the share link via youtube) should be redone like the video clip example
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTK3NzarK-A (use the video clip button in message toolbar, format link that way) and should work, hope that helps!😃

Loved the video. Joe's voice was perfect for the song. Was strange with him singing more than playing, but when he did, wow.
Joe's voice always amazes me that he can sing so high, still, but he can also sing low and very clear. I think he's very underrated as a singer. I know he's underrated as a guitar player. Joe never was a "shredder" He's actually very technical and precise on his notes. He's a musician how plays guitar, not just a guitar player. As Peter Frampton said in as interview, " A guitar player lasts of 18 months or so a musician lasts forever".
It's a shame he's not in the Hall of Fame as a solo guitar or even a slide guitar player but as long as the HoF is done the way it is he doesn't have a chance. The owner of it doesn't really like Joe, personal. He picks the people to be voted on then give them to those who vote. Vote isn't done by fellow players or public. He is in the MoPop Hall of Fame as a solo.
Wish he'd write his book, he's walking Rock and Roll history book. He knows just about everybody, history of songs, people of the time and all the good stuff. LOL They need an "Elder Statesman" of Rock and Roll award for him.
Thanks for the info on posting a video, I'll try it

I've been watching Joe at Daryls House. It's from 2012. I recorded it so I can watch it over and over. It was fun seeing him in that type of setting, almost a jam like setting. One of my favorites is listening to them doing "Wrecking Ball" Daryl and Joe sing the same so Joe had to go lower. He really sounds great when he sings low. I think he can harmonize with just about anybody. A singing magazine did an article on the ten most under rated rock singers and he was number two. They said he has a voice that could front any rock band and a range that make it hard for people to sing some of his songs.

speaking of Joe concerts I stumbled across this one. Never knew it existed. This is from Japan 1983 with Michael McDonald and Boz Scaggs. They include In The City, Rocky Mountain Way and All Night Long. Joe starts at 16:14. It gets distorted at times video wise especially during All Night Long (of course ugh )But I really enjoyed watching this and I think he even played a Greco during Rocky Mountain Way? Thats was a good find. Did you notice in RMW the bass player was also using a talk box in harmony with Joe? Can you just see Henley if Joe bounced around on the stage like that with the Eagles. LOL Like his workout outfit.
Not sure on the guitar in RMW. It was strange. I think the double was a Gibson. They made a lot of different styles then, 12/6, 6/6 and even a bass/6. He has one that he played for a while with both tunics, one regular and one E that he like for slide.
The RMW one at first glance I thought it was a DanElectro because of the white sandwich body. When I could see the body it's not. Couldn't get a good look at the neck, like to look at the inlays, some brands have their own special look. The headstock with the tuners on top was different but not uncommon. Now you peaked my interest.
It has a one pickup, looks like dot inlays and a very unusual looking body shape. It could be a Greco as they made a lot of clones and he was in Japan.

Very nice Scamp! If I’m not mistaken the Howard Stern one was on one of those cheesy Casios too. I remember an episode where Howard was pushing him to play and they brought in this little Casio, Howard commenting about “this is the keyboard he’s going to use?” And Joe was hitting the dog bark effect ha ha. I’m not sure if same episode, but perhaps.

Darn the link isn't there anymore. Too old I guess.
I think the Howard show you might be thinking of Joe plays Desperado. I remember Howard with the little Casio. Joe played Desperado again on another show. Howard was telling Joe how he heard that Don was pissed that Joe sang his song. Howard, of course, asked Joe if he's do it again. Joe said sure and they brought out a little bit better Casio.
Can you imagine going to a show to see Les Paul Trio with guest Joe Walsh...Wow two of the best guitar players on the same stage. Then have Joe walk over to the piano and play. He got a standing ovation...Loved to have been there.
I wish he'd do something with Lucy. Maybe sometime.
At least he seems to be keeping busy singing with Ringo. I understand Ringo wants to do some more quarantine videos. Joe looked good in it, nice view of the civic area behind him.
Got my second covid shot yesterday. On the way there I heard the Eagles singing James Dean. I can't recall every hearing that one on the radio. First shot day I heard four Joe songs. Makes shots better...

I posted to this in your previous post, I believe he’s very underrated. I wish sometimes he would sing more in his lower register, and as we age voices do change, but go back and check out Collage, Fred, Etc. I love the roughness of his voice and yes dreamer he rocks!!

I thought it was strange that both my post, one on the Eagles, are from the same place.
Joe does have a range that many don't hear. He sings the lower back up with the Eagles most the time but there is times when he's singing back up with Don, Timothy and Vince. You can tell when he's singing higher by his body language. He stretches out almost on his tiptoes when he sings high. Listen to him sing on the Grammy's Beatles Tribute "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" He nailed it. On Daryl's House when they are singing "Wrecking Ball" Daryl is singing the lead in one part. He and Joe sound the same so Joe drops down and sings low backup.
When I first started really listening to the Eagles and Joe joined, I used to think of their voices and musical instruments. Don was a saxophone, kinda raspy but has a range. Glenn was a clarinet, clear, can play loud or soft and play with any other instrument. Randy was a piccolo, had a real high range but could harmonize easly with other instruments. Timothy was a flute, soft tone, high range but also can play lower them most people think. Joe was an oboe, can play high but can go low, harmonize with other instruments but has an unusual sound. I know I used to play one. All instruments have solo parts with their own sound.
I read an article from a singing magazine on the 20 most underrated rock singers. Joe was number 2. They said he had a voice that could front any rock band In his songs such as RMW he's singing high one moment and low another moment It's hard for others to try and sing his songs in the key he does. When he left the James Gang, they had to lower Funk 49 two keys so the replacement singer could sing it. They said that sometimes he starts out a high baritone and ends up a high tenor.

One of the best vocal voices in the Eagles - WHAT ! His version of Desperado is amazing -DOUBLE WHAT -LOL ! Joe's voice is different and perfect for the type of songs he sings. Dreamer, I agree, Joe has the perfect R & R voice.

Oh boy! Oh boy! Here’s a blast from the past! 1986 interview regarding Kent State and Joe being grand marshall at Parade. Interviewer a bit jerky looking for Eagles dirt :-x Nice quality. I’m guessing the single is “The Confessor”. Lol.....in Joe’s defense would’ve been out a while So maybe that’s the confusion. And interviewer doesn’t even name the song in question geesh. Anyways enjoy!!

Good find KingWalsh..I've seen pictures of Joe riding in the caddy for the parade. Was looking up the Measles and it lead to a Kent State site and a Kent site.
I read an article in a Kent paper about an event at KS a lot of people that were at the shooting were going to speak. One thing that stood out to me was the writer said that Joe was going to be there and he's been surprising silent about it. I think it really affected him because when he does talk about it there is a change in his body language and the way he speaks. Paul Shaffer asked Joe about in on his show. Joe talked about how Kent was musically and politically. When Paul asked him about the shooting and how it affected him all Joe said was he "lost his innocents that day" and he left Kent.
I did find a book by Jason Prufer, "Small Town, Big Music: The Outsized Influence of Kent Ohio on the History of Rock and Roll" When Joe read through it he offered to write a forward for it. They had it at the Kent bookstore and also on Amazon. First chapter is about Joe and the Measles as well as other groups of the time. Just glancing through it, there were a lot of groups that played there, some not as well known and some very well known. Easy reading so far and informative. Has some pictures of different groups along with the story of them. It is a good addition to my Rock and Roll stack of books.

Glad you liked it Scamp! You are right Kent had a huge affect on Joe. “Turn to Stone” was about that and that’s why I like the original from Barnstorm rather than So What, because it should be angry and gritty in my opinion. Here is a link from SoundCloud from WMMS radio station when Kent was about to have the Homecoming and they had Joe on for about 20 min or so as guest. Pretty cool. fun listen.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4fdS9kh3QU
Here's what Steve had to say about doing it. He's a really big fan of Joe. It's part of an interview on Ultimate Guitar
And the Joe Walsh's song from 1970 ['Welcome to the Club']?
"He's one of my favorite heroes of all time, I love Joe and nobody ever covers Joe Walsh songs, except the obvious ones. And this is not an obvious one. I played it for him, and he sent me back, 'A++++ Killer!'"
I like the way you sing on that.
"I had to kind of give a wink to it but I didn't want to do a bad impression of Joe. I love him too much for that."

Great videos KingWalsh He's been on Drews show a couple times playing guitar. Never gets old. Don't you love it when you find something like this.
Loved the PRS one. Great to see him and LOVE the guitar. What a sound...Paul has been providing Joe with guitars for a while. One Joe didn't want to take on the road because it was so nice but he plays it now in shows. Joe doesn't put hie name on too many things never less actually sign them. There's a Dr Z amp, an Alien pedal, a Duisenberg guitar and now PRS guitar. Wonder if they will bring out a similar one without his signature on it.
I usually find some good videos just as my battery is going dead. LOL I now have a file in my favorites called videos. That way I can just drag the video into the file and have it for later. It saves a lot of time when your lap top says it's shutting down. I've lost some good videos.

Joe never disputes anything. I think he just doesn't do that. Joe V has said he's very non confrontal. Plus maybe he really doesn't remember some of that time frame. He was getting pretty bad then. He's said many times he doesn't remember a lot of the mid 80's and early 90's.
On the fox video I enjoyed the old pictures of Joe, some I've never seen before, didn't care for some of the pictures of her. I just slide along the play bar and stoped on Joe's pictures. It was worth it to me to watch it just to see Joe's pictures.
