Feel better, GS!
I just had a call back to say that I didn't get the teaching job I went for this morning. They were incredibly complimentary and literally couldn't offer any advice - there were no negatives, I was just pipped to the post by a slightly stronger/more experienced candidate on the day. It is a bit galling because I feel like it's the same old story at each interview, but I also know that I couldn't have done any more and that it's just the way the job market is at the moment. I'm sure there is a role out there with my name on it... On the plus side, I actually enjoyed teaching the observed lesson this morning and am really pleased with the feedback I have had from it. As I said, no negatives, just one of those things. The agency I am signed up with is putting me forward for another role in a Year 1 class in a tougher area (the school was in special measures, but is working hard to improve.) They want someone who will get stuck in and help the school to raise standards. It will be tough, but then I think any school would be. We shall see how it goes if they like my CV and I get the chance to visit the school/go for interview...
Aw, I'm sorry. Keep up that great attitude. I have been in your shoes and I wish I had been as positive as you are. Good luck!

I will be starting a major project in our house tomorrow. We have decided to move 4 of our rooms completely around. Our bedroom is going back upstairs, where it started 24 years ago, the tv room is being moved into our bedroom now, etc.... The good thing is that we can kind of take our time and do one room at a time starting with the room that is going to be our new bedroom because, even tho it is furnished, it's not being used since our son moved out. Tomorrow, I'm going to start clearing it out, sorting everything and boxing stuff we'll keep up. It now has a combination of Dillon's stuff, Larry's sports memorabilia and some of my music memorabilia in it. Then the fun starts with picking out the new colors.
This is all coming as we still have the laundry/utility room tore up and being painted and new floor going in. Add to that that Larry is working 50-60 hours a week right now and probably will be for the rest of the summer. What is wrong with us? We are getting to old for this kind of nonsense! Good thing is tho, that we are going to take this opportunity to try to clear out some stuff that we haven't used for years and get rid of it. Next week is our little town's Hometown Days and lots of people have yard sales. Who knows, maybe if I get really ambitious, we can have a sale also and make enough money to fund this project. :hilarious:

TBF, since I've stayed at your house I can picture exactly which rooms you're talking about! Hmmm :hmm:, where will the guest room be...:hilarious: Anyway, good luck with everything. Even though most of it is a lot of work, designing a room can be fun! It'd be great if you could sell some stuff next weekend, but pricing everything and setting it up is so much work! Maybe you can just sit everything that you want to get rid of around your house and have a sign in your yard that says, 'Come in and make an offer'. :hilarious:
This has been a busy summer for us and this weekend is no exception. Today is my SIL's birthday, so when I get off work we are going to take my parents to Champaign/Urbana (a 45 minute drive) to meet my brother, SIL, niece and her new hubby for dinner at this great Italian restaurant called Biaggi's. Mmmm, can't wait for that! Then tomorrow I have to work until noon, quickly change, pick up my parents again and go to my cousin's son's wedding in Bloomington, IL, about 1 1/2 hour's drive from here. The wedding is at 3, so we will be rushing, plus I will be one hungry girl! But they're feeding us well at the reception. ;-) All in all, it should be fun!

I'm sure you will enjoy getting your teeth into that project Willie! You should take some 'before' and 'after' pics!
Cathy, you will indeed have a busy but hopefully funfilled weekend. Enjoy the birthday and wedding.
Laura will attempt to be part of a world record breaking attempt on Sunday when the longest lines of simultaneous irish dancer will dance to Riverdance. With temperatures forecast in the late 20s (90s F I think) and wall to wall sun it should be very good.

Oh my Willie! Sounds like quite a project, but very exciting to be doing! Good luck!
We are always involved in something like that. We are currently putting new siding on our house and refinishing the concrete drive pad in back. I'm starting another week of vacation at home and will be painting the kitchen/ dining area and cleaning out clutter everywhere I can find it. Why am I keeping some of this stuff? I also need to refinish my antique dining table, but that may have to wait till my August week off. The dozer operator is coming next week too to clean out our pond and make it bigger. It's never ending!
Today is our 39th anniversary! I guess I'll keep him a few more years sinc he did send me a beautiful bouquet of flowers yesterday! Most of the time, he's a sweetheart! Tonight we are going out to dinner!

Congratulations Brooke & hubby on 39 years! Lovely flowers & hope you enjoy the anniversary dinner!
It's been so freakin' hot here in NY. I think 6 days of 94-98 degrees, & even higher with the humidity. Yesterday I took the day off & didn't even leave my apartment. I just chilled with the AC & watched tv most of the day. I even cleaned the house a little.
Today I went to the pool for a little bit, but it was really windy up there for some reason. I went for a swim, but I didn't really hang out there too long.
Tonight I'm bored, just hanging out.

Brooke - wow, congratulations!
TBF - enjoy the mega-project. We should be doing that sort of thing but... it's way too easy to make excuses not to!
Just saw my 8-year old daughter off on her first camp (run by the YMCA during school holidays), she will be back on Friday. Missing her already!! She is with her best friend (they met aged 6 months) and although she will find everything strange, she should enjoy herself too, she's that kind of kid (I'm saying partly to reassure myself. :)).

The buyers for my house rescinded the contract! :( They used the home inspection as the grounds for it, and the list they provided was mostly stuff that's not an actual problem. The things I know are problems weren't in there. My neighbors saw them, said they were an older couple. I'm thinking they just realized it's too much yard work, etc. They didn't ask to have money taken off the price, they wanted it all 'fixed', which isn't going to happen.
So now I'm stuck, and not sure what to do...

Just sit tight. You got that contract within what -- one week? Fix what you can on the list and get estimates for what you can't or won't fix before the sale so that you can factor those costs into your sales price. If you educate yourself as to the repair costs, you won't get "taken" by consenting to too much of a credit on purchase price.

We have dozer people coming this morning to work on our pond. It's going to be interesting to watch. They are draining it and cleaning it out and then making it bigger. We are going to try to catch the fish and put them in a neighbor's pond. Should be interesting!

First room is cleaned out and ready to paint. Now to decide on the colors. I'm going more neutral this time (surprised my whole family with that one) so that I can change up the bedding often. Leaning toward some grays. I hate this part and will welcome any suggestions. Would like to have it picked out soon so I can start painting this weekend.
And of course, as we start this big project, hubby starts working major overtime, including this coming Saturday and Sunday. Looks like I might be on my own for most of this.

Well, Don's birthday obviously brought me good luck because I got the job! I didn't even have to go home and wait for a phonecall... they offered me the job there and then. They were really impressed and said that they hope I will be there for a long time. It's a school in a deprived area of London (but there are great areas really close by train, so I can still live in a nice area like Twickenham and have a short commute!) It's really turned around in the last year or so, and is making huge improvements thanks to the headteacher and the new staff team. I was really impressed with the space in the school and the friendly, positive vibe - they're a really passionate team and they want the best for the children. I know that it will be hard work. They have high expectations and are under rigorous monitoring by OFSTED because of their need and desire to improve their grading, but they are also incredibly supportive to staff and have fantastic training programmes in place. I feel that I can really make a difference there. I will be a Year 1 class teacher (5-6 year olds) and my class is named Orange class. :) I stayed today after the interview to start planning for September with my fellow Year 1 teacher and the NQT mentor. I will get paid for today, which is a nice bonus!
All in all, I'm extremely relieved and happy. I can't quite believe I finally have a job, but I also know that there was a reason I was made to wait for this school. Thank you so much for all of your good wishes and thoughts over the past few weeks!

A funny thing happened on the way home from Louisville...(I'm not laughing) :eyebrow: We were traveling in the right lane heading north on 65, following a vehicle pulling a trailer with a boat on it, when suddenly the trailer's tire blew, causing debris in front of us. The traffic was heavy, and there was no way for us to get into the left lane. Hubby tried to put as much distance between us as possible, but when the vehicle pulled onto the shoulder it kicked a rock up and we heard that awful, loud tap and spotted a crack in our windshield.
We purchased the car Thursday evening and drove it off the lot at 7:00 p.m. Hubby went to the insurance company to change things over on Friday during his lunch hour, but they were closed. Fortunately, he left a voicemail with our agent telling her we had purchased a new vehicle. We'll contact the insurance company and the glass company tomorrow.
Honestly, this stuff doesn't usually happen to us! The car gods must be angry with us, or something. :-(
Thought I'd update you on the car (Ruby) ordeal. Last Monday morning the windshield was replaced at my workplace. I was amazed that they could do it right on the bank's parking lot. When I drove it home for lunch I thought something looked odd with the windshield. Hubby was home for lunch, took one look and said that it was off-center. He also saw that the installer had left a nice big glob of black glue on the hood, near the wiper. Hubby immediately called and told the manager about the issues. He was very apologetic and told us the installer would contact us that same day.
Sure enough, when I got back to work I took a call from a very apologetic installer. He said he would come and remove the glue that afternoon, but would be unable to switch out the windshield, as the glue has to bond for at least 48 hours.
When I took Ruby home after work, Hubby and I both looked at the spot where he had removed the glue, only to find Brillo pad-like scratches! :enraged: Again, Hubby called the manager to report the problem. They then arranged for us to bring the car to their business today and they would replace the windshield and have the scratches buffed out. We were to pick the car up at 1:00 today, when I got off work.
Hubby was there to pick me up from work and said that they had called him to say that the windshield, which was expected to arrive today, had not arrived. :dizzy: They are keeping Ruby overnight and hoping the windshield comes in tomorrow.
Can you believe this??!! Frankly, I was afraid to have them take it to have the scratches buffed out, for fear of what it would come back looking like. I guess we'll find out tomorrow. Doesn't anybody take pride in their work anymore? :-(

Brooke - I'm curious, how are y'all going to catch the fish? With a net, fishing pole? Whatever, it sounds like a fun way to spend a morning!
They put chicken wire between two steel posts and held that across the opening. When the water got low enough they grabbed the fish and put them in buckets. Then transferred them to a water tank. Then they took them to a neighbor that dressed some of them and put the rest in his pond. I took lots of pictures and will post them when I get some time. Fun to watch, but so hot!
Troub, congratulations on your job! I knew something would turn up and I bet you will love it!

Oh PM - I'm so sorry about your car. I ask myself that several times a year, where is the pride in people's work? I hope they get everything fixed quickly & for FREE! After everything y'all have been thru with them, you certainly deserve some compensation for time, gasoline & aggravation. Poor Ruby! :scowl:

Troub, Congratulations!!! You deserve it, and sounds like you are going to be a highly valued member of the staff. Good luck finding somewhere to live.
My younger son is coming to the end of his Masters in London, but he's living in Hackney. He has to resubmit one essay, then his dissertation, but unless something unexpected turns up he will have to come home to live while he looks for work. Thank goodness my older son has settled into a good job with the local council, and has prospects for going far. He is living at home with me and is a real support. Last night I went in the hot tub, and he called down to say he'd put some music on for me - Boys of Summer, Funk 49 and The Last Resort! What a sweetie!
I applied for a paid job (shop assistant) with the charity I'm volunteering for, but haven't heard anything. I'm really enjoying being there as a volunteer and now doing two and a half days a week.
PM, sorry to hear about Ruby. I hope they fix her properly.

I haven't been feeling well. Yesterday afternoon I was at work and my stomach started feeling upset. I worked through it, came home and laid down. I ended up sleeping straight through, about 12 hours! I got up and went to work, even though I still didn't feel 100%. I hadn't been there 15 minutes when I accidentally cut my hand with a box cutter while putting away supplies! Can you believe US Cellular can't do anything to get me a new phone? If you remember I accidently dropped my phone in the kitchen sink on Monday. Since I wasn't pressed to get it replaced and thought I would try drying it out on my own in a sack of rice (which didn't work!) I didn't make it to the store until Wednesday. Of all days, they were completely shut down as far as making any changes to anyone's accounts because they were switching over to a new billing database. Ok, understood. My bad luck to pick that day. I went back today hoping to get it taken care of and they were still unable to help me! I don't know who was more frustrated, me or all of the us cellular employees! They will call me when they get back up and running! Bummer!

It's up and I'm ready to upgrade, but US Cellular is the only one that works in my area. And it's a nationwide problem, not just here. You can't even access your account online!
Hopefully it will be up and running again soon! Not a real biggie for me. I'm not a diehard phone fanatic, thankfully! The phone service works, if you have one! It's just the account/billing part.

I guess this is something that could happen to any company, Brooke, but it's still irritating. I have Verizon Wireless and have been a customer of theirs for 16-17 years (original name was Bell Atlantic Mobile) and where I'm moving to in KY, there is no Verizon Wireless!! Their network is extended there, but they tell me I don't need to change carriers. Yet there are no Verizon Wireless stores in the area, so we'll see. Bluegrass Cellular just doesn't sound like they handle nationwide coverage very well, so we'll see.
I was to drive to KY today, but I don't have all my packing nearly done. My back hurts too much right now to pack the car with the things I'll need for three weeks, so I guess I'll stick around today and do what I can, then leave either very early tomorrow morning or later tonight and stay in a hotel somewhere.

Still having strange contact from husband, late night texts saying "Talk to me pleeease???xx", then formal stuffy emails about things he needs from the house etc, and what he's been up to with girlfriend...and he thinks I need counselling?!
However, after reluctantly speaking to him he has agreed to pay me a decent sum of money every month, and will let me continue to stay in my lovely house for now. I have decided to hold off on the divorce for a couple of months to see how this works. For me, the house is my greatest wish as I have everything I want here, and it's our family home, and soon my younger son will be moving back as well while he looks for work.

I'm still feeling absolutely drained of any energy at random times of the day and I'm beginning to think it's not mono related. I know the fatigue of that can last a long while, but man I wouldn't think this long. So the story goes I went and had my endocrinologist move next year's blood panel to this year and do the full battery of blood tests. So I find out my thyroid is lower than what I normally show, but not in the abnormal range (yet). Everything else was normal. So he increased my thyroid replacement ever so slightly from 175 to 200 mcg. I'm thinking I'm starting to feel a bit better, but maybe that's just placebo effect in my brain. But I know I'm getting up and around more often instead of wanting to sleep all the time, lol.

Austin, could it be the swimming that's making you extra tired? I've always heard that swimming has that effect, and your pool is fairly new...
Hmm, I hadn't thought of that. First time I noticed the tiredness was right at the time I got the mono, and that goes along with it. But it kept lingering and that's when I had the thyroid test and that was borderline low but still increased the med anyway. That might have played a part in it. All I know is I'm starting to be less tired but still not 100%.

Haven't felt well myself for several days. Tired, achy all over. Last night we went to a family get together and I considered not going, but wanted to. In the restaurant I was literally shivering. We ate and left pretty quickly and I had a 100 degree temp when I got home. Took tylenol and went to bed. This morning after freezing part of the night I got up and had 101 degree temp. Ok. Off to the doctor and I have a uti. I thought maybe, but wasn't really sure because it wasn't that bad. Ugh! Antibiotics and bed. Missing family reunion.

I'm sorry to hear that Brooke, but at least you got it diagnosed.
This past April 1 we had eaten dinner and I sat down to relax and watch some TV. Within 10 minutes what started as an uncomfortable ache in my side turned into a full blown horrific pain. I writhed with pain for the next hour, trying to lie down and rest, but finally even I agreed that I needed to go to the ER. Unfortunately I had to wait for what seemed like an eternity, but was about 25-30 minutes before they had a room for me. The entire time I was moaning and writhing in what I would call the most excruciating pain I had experienced since my appendix ruptured when I was 5. Once they put me in a room, thankfully they gave me pain meds and the pain quickly subsided. Hubby and I thought for sure it was a gall stone, but the diagnosis was.... A UTI! I had no clue beforehand. Man, that pain was off the chart!

Well, today had NOT been a good day!
I noticed two things.
First, under my toenail polish, one of my toenails blackened. Apparently there is blood trapped under it from banging it on the treadmill. It looks nasty, but at least it doesn't hurt and should go away by itself after the nail falls off.
Second, I noticed my baby Milton is limping. He is still jumping onto furniture and walking around, but decidedly favoring his front right paw. Off to the vet tomorrow. He will NOT be pleased. Hopefully it's not too serious.... or too expensive.

I do it almost every day now during the summer, but I think that'll change once school starts up again. This nail issue has also put a crimp in my plans as I'm not sure if it's a good idea to keep jogging on it.
I do it for about 25-30 minutes at 5 mph. Any more than that right now and I think I'd collapse!
Thanks for the good wishes for my little Milton.

Today we went to the Decatur Celebration, a large street fair in Decatur, IL. They block off the streets and have about 8 stages set up. It's not really a music festival; the headliners we've seen in the past are Little River Band, Eddy Money, Charlie Daniels Band, Patty Smyth, The Spinners, The Marshall Tucker Band and Jim and Dan Seals. It's never anybody like the Eagles. Lol. Anyway, this year on Friday night they had an Eagles tribute band called Heartache Tonight, who we had seen before elsewhere, Foghat on Saturday night, and Blind Melon tonight. Because of time restraints today was the only time we could go, so we weren't able to see any of those, but we go every year so I didn't want to break from tradition. The weather was gorgeous for a change (usually it's sweltering) and we enjoyed walking around, eating fair food and listening to some local bands. Hopefully next year we'll get to see somebody good!

I and the whole rest of our little town have heavy hearts this morning after word is spreading of a murder/suicide of a prominent business lady here in town just a couple hours ago.
I heard lots and lots of sirens around 7 this morning and it's unusual around here so your heart just drops because you know something horrible has happened and you know you probably know the person it's happened to. In this case I did. It happened about 2 blocks from here and the woman is an old friend of mine from over 20 years ago. We hung out shortly after hubby & I were married when she was dating one of our best friends. She now is vice president of the local bank and has been married to her second husband for several years. Apparently her husband came home from work this morning and shot her then turned the gun on himself. Even more sad is the fact that her 12 & 8 year old daughters were in the house. Word quickly spread and everyone's a bit in shock right now. This doesn't happen in our little town and it doesn't happen to the people that chose to live here. Another realization to us all that ugliness is everywhere and none of us are immune to it.
Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers. Her parents and sister are some of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet and I can't even imagine what her girls will live with for the rest of their lives.

Arthritis? How did they determine that? Is there anything you can give him?
There was no trauma to his paw or injury that they could identify. When the doctor applied pressure to certain areas, he didn't react until he got to the elbow. When he extended his elbow joint, Milton cried (poor baby). However, the bone wasn't broken or anything like that. The vet said he could hear a .little "click" consistent with joint problems, but it was pretty much a process of elimination.
Joint problems are not unusual in a 9 year old cat. I bought some pain medicine for him that I'm to give him every few days, or as needed. Unfortunately it's chronic, but it could be worse. Milton has only a very slight limp and can still run and jump easily.
The vet also says he could stand to lose a pound or two.
If he suddenly gets worse, the vet told me to come back and they will X-ray him.
TT - congrats to Luke's parents. They are doing the right thing.

Soda, I have a 15-year-old cat (Hobbes) who weighs 18 lbs. He has arthritis at the end of his spine, near his tail - you can see it in the x-rays. When it first presented, it was so severe I had to take him to the 24 hour vet, he all of a sudden couldn't sit down. He got some liquid narcotic pain reliever. I have to say, though, that over the past year, it really comes and goes. I can tell when he is stiff, but most of the days he seems to be perfectly fine. It's like it flares up occasionally. The medicine makes him sort of crazy - his pupils dilate, and he killed a full-sized rabbit and brought it to the back door after having not killed anything in years, so when he looks stiff, I give him half of a low dose aspirin sprinkled on his food, and this seems to help - our vet told us to do this. She said don't read the internet, it is OK for a cat to have small amounts of aspirin to combat arthritis. It has worked for us so far. So, I guess what I'm saying is not to worry that it will get progressively worse - Milton may be having a little flareup. Ask your vet about the aspirin, so you don't have to rely on the narcotics.

Well I had to find a new home for my kitten this week, which has me all out of sorts and bummed out. Long and short was that my cats loved her, our other dogs loved her, but our Boxer HATED her and tried to attack. I couldn't live with myself if he hurt or killed her, so I sent her to live with 3 other cats at my mom's best friend's house. It's better for her but damn I was already attached to her...

hubby bought me a new couch. We got it tonight. It is 3 sections one section has a recliner on each end with a seat in the middle, the triangle section is big enough for two people and the third section is two rocker recliners with a "console" inbetween to hold drinks and a compartment for remotes and things.
It is so nice. We are not letting the dogs on it and they are whining. They will learn :)

Congratulations to your friend, GA. My, she's taking on quite a lot!
She certainly is. She has two older children as well, a 10 year old girl and an 8 year old boy.

Trying to catch up here, so can't reply to everyone's posts, but my best wishes to anyone who is going through difficult times at the moment.
GA, wonderful news about your friend's twin boys! What will they be called?
Austin, sorry you had to rehome your kitty, but sounds like she'll be loved in her new place.
Soda, hope Milton's doing ok.
VA, good luck with the packing and the move.
I've been trying to sort out the rest of the stuff from my parents's house, which is in storage. Most of the books have gone to Oxfam, the china and glass have gone to my charity, St Lukes Hospice, but there are still some things to sort. This week I brought home a little suitcase that I hadn't really looked at before. It must have been my grandmother's. It mainly had old receipts and such, but there was one box which had birth and death and marriage certificates from three generations back. One dated from 1863. I was overwhelmed. Two little birth certificates right at the bottom were for my father's twin older brothers, who died shortly after birth in 1921. When I found those I wept. The rest has inspired me to trace our family tree.
On a different note, my new voluntary work includes helping with the charity's ebay site. Last week the sales amounted to over £700 on one night! We had been donated a family bible from the 18th century which went for £276, and is going to the USA!

GEF, your story of the little suitcase sounds like the makings of a movie! I can just picture you looking through it and finding those two little birth certificates at the bottom and weeping. What a treasure trove! And congratulations with the success on eBay!

We're going out tonight to see our friend David Howie perform his Live Jukebox Show. David is an old friend of Hubby's and we go see him when we can. Tonight he's playing at an outdoor patio bar close by. Should be a lot of fun!
Here's a link to David's website if anyone wants to have a look. My favorite of his original songs is Everybody's Here.

The boys will be Thomas Matthew which is Anne Marie's own Dads name (I bet he is chuffed), and Daniel Brian (her husband is Brian).
So thrilled that your eBay site is doing so well. That Bible sounds awesome.
And amazing about finding all those family birth Certs. It must have been very profound. It's amazing how much history can be tucked away in a corner waiting for somebody to discover it! How nostalgic it must have been.
PM, hope you and hubby enjoyed the David Howie gig!

Austin, sorry about having to give your kitty away, but sounds like she will enjoy her new home.
Gef, congrats on the success on ebay! And the little suitcase sounds so interesting! I'm kind of in to genealogy too and try to do a little digging every once in a while.
Ga, twins! Fun!

Austin-- I'm so sorry to hear that. It's hard, no matter how short a time you have an animal, to give them up like that. But sounds like she went to a good home of someone who obviously loves kitties.
Austin I too am very sorry to hear this. I wonder what the problem was? Glad the kitty is in a better place for it. I guess it gives you a good reason to visit!

thanks guys. After all the house mess, this was a nice addition. Our contractor was awesome and worked it so we didn't have to pay our deductible so I got the couch instead. It is a deep brown color. Very nice. So far we have only had to kick our female puppy off it once. Hubby is even looking at doggie couches to put along a wall so they have something to sit on. Yea, he spoils them.

I don't know... Our boxer kills rabbits and birds in the yard all the time. We have a fenced in yard that is set up like Fort Knox yet critters still sadly find their way in... He's very prey driven. My old dog, Shiloh, a beagle, was that way. He used to bring his "catch" inside and drop it on the bed and enjoy it, lol. Shiloh was my best friend and companion and I've yet to have another since and so I was hoping the kitten would be. Gibson (the boxer) is my mom's dog and she lets him do pretty much anything. She likes cats, but is biased to dogs!
He gets along with our adult male cat because he isn't furry (DSH) and is very dog-like, for lack of a better word, lol. Our female cat stays in the basement because she knows she'll be dinner if Gibson gets her. She looks like a rabbit. Abbey wasn't smart enough and she looks furry and Gibson didn't even get close, he just peeked through the gate to the basement and started growling and jumping and we were worried about him anyway.

Austin, I guess it's good that Abbey is in a 'safer' place and somewhere where you can still see her.
I am back in KY, I finished packing everything in VA on Sunday and flew back. Some neighbors took care of supervising the movers getting it all on the truck yesterday, and they will deliver it here tomorrow. I'm a bit worried, the tech division here finally gave us a date to make our big release, and as IT director I have to participate... Guess when it is? Yep, tomorrow morning. This will be a little tricky!

Troub, of course, we've all missed you around here! I haven't even been around much because of work and I've definitely noticed your absence!
Work for me is calming down a bit. The worst part of our transition is over, I hope! We shall see after our training next week........

Hi Troub! If you're meaning, would anyone notice if you didn't come back here, uh...hell yes!!!
I've missed you being here. As we've been playing Survivor I've wondered which songs you would have voted for and why.
Have a good trip home. It will be nice for us to only have a six hour time difference again - this eight hour difference sucks! Lol!

For once something interesting in my life happened today.
Had the option of opening my exam results live on an (British based) international TV station. Turned it down. Way too attention seeking for my liking.
Odd to think though, tomorrow my face could have been seen the world over by millions on the most important day of my life so far...
