Thank you for more beautiful pics of Don from HFO! Hell Freezes Over was also the first Eagles DVD that I bought, and I cannot tell you the number of times I have watched it. I think the entire band looks fantastic during this concert, but Don just completely blows me away. His eyes, his hair, his body, his expressions,and how can I forget his voice? Pure heaven! Thanks again!
By the way, "Learn to be Still" was the song that stood out for me when I first heard the "Hell Freezes Over" CD, shortly after it was released. It is still one of my favorite songs. I also think the version of "Heart of the Matter" is the best I've ever heard! (from HFO):thumbsup:

Do you happen to have any pics of Don singing "Heart of the Matter" from I believe 1991? I was watching the video on Youtube last night, and I almost fell out of my chair! He looked so, so handsome in a black t shirt, leather jacket, and he had a beard and mustache! Have you seen this video? I had never seen it til last night, and I was so glad to discover it. I don't know if it was from a benefit show or not, but Arsenio Hall came out after Don finished singing.

Stars - I think several of us have had similar experiences. Since the '70's, I pretty much loved Glenn and Don the same. Then, I went to a show in Oakland, CA. in 2005 and I was absolutely mesmerized by Glenn. Now, don't get me wrong, I still love Don a LOT, as well as, Joe and Timothy - but, I was chosen by Glenn for good after that night. :wink:

BTW - We have a thread in Cheap Talk and Wine about how you became an Eagles fan that I always like to point out to the newbies on the board. I loved reading that thread about our members individual experiences, and always like to encourage new members to read it and post their own experiences there. I've noticed that some singer hold a guitar just to have something to do with their hands. I saw a Fleetwood Mac show last night and Stevie Nicks had scarves tied to her mic and she would play with the scarves as she was singing. The rest of the time she would hold on to the mic, she had bright red nail polish so her hands stood out from the dark colors.

TBF, I really LOVE the 2nd pix---the whole look is just beautiful. I have to say, once you put all of these pictures in perspective like this, he just might be the Eagle who has had the most variety in his appearance over the years!
