OOO We passed through Glenn County where the town of Henley is located!!! *G* I tried to send pictures of the sign, but it's hard to do when you're driving like crazy to get to San Jose *G* :partytime:
I was watching my Def Leppard Classic Albums DVD and Phil Collen (the guitar player) was talking about "Love Bites" orginally sounding like Don Henley. So i found the clip of YouTube its at the very end (9:30)

Thanks for posting that TGOS. I love that song - would've been okay with me if they had left it sounding like Don Henley though.
Just a couple minutes ago, while I was here, on the Board, hubby tuned into a movie, "In America", where one of the characters (a young person) was singing "Desperado"! The voice sounded so pure, and it reminded me once again of what a lovely song it is.
I was browsing in the book store earlier today, and I had to take a picture of this author's name.

Something posted in the Joe threads reminded me of albums. I meant to put this on earlier this week.
Saturday night, Larry and I decided to reorganize all our albums and catalog them to make sure we had them all on our list (we didn't). We have a tendency of buying them and then just go ahead and stick them in the albums before we add them to our computer list. ANYWAYS...
We were going alphabetical with Larry at the albums naming them and me checking the master list on the computer to make sure they were on it. When we got to the E's, without missing a beat, instead of naming each Eagles album separately, he just says "several copies of every damn one of them!". I knew exactly who/what he was talking about. He then did the same thing when it was time for the Joe Walsh albums (which was wrong because I really don't have all of them, just most of them!). :hilarious: He's a fuuunnny guy!!:nope:
I guess this isn't a thing that "reminded" me of the Eagles, because it was the Eagles but figured I'd put it here anyways.
Last night, out on the patio listening to a new radio station we have found that plays all classic rock out of Chicago. They played Lyin' Eyes and of course I sang along as I did my Sudoku and Larry read the paper. After it was over Larry dropped the paper down and said "you know that IS country right?" I didn't even look up from my puzzle but flipped him a select finger, he chuckled and continued reading. Some times he really pisses me off!
LOL!
