Well, speaking for myself, I would almost never vote strategically until I'm certain about the outcome of a round. That's why I generally vote near the end of the round. When rounds are close, I will always vote to eliminate a song before I will vote strategically. However, if there are a lot of voter's who vote strategically before they know a weaker song is going to go down, what you said could happen, ltl. I'd rather have voted for my least favorite... but had to even that playing field...
I wonder if we'll end up shooting ourselves in the foot and accidentally vote off a favorite early on... while trying to protect another song.
So bottom line, my rule is that I don't vote strategically if my vote is needed to take down a song that I would rather see eliminated. In this round, I am almost certain that Journey of the Sorcerer is going down, but I'll still wait until a little later to cast my vote.

Well said, ltl - ITA. I just love this song. To me, ATTIG is a vastly underrated song - the lyrics, vocals, and music are all incredible. I can't imagine those lyrics not speaking to almost everyone. I'll even add a couple more ...I know After the Thrill is seems cliche, but to me, it's much more deep ... but I love it. With JOTS and HW still open, I'm surprised ATTIG has several votes already.
This song speaks to me. "You're not quite lovers and you're not quite friends" ... been there...
"you don't care about winning but you don't want to lose" ... been there...
"Time passes and you must move on"... been there...
"any kind of love without passion, well that ain't no kind of lovin' at all" ... been there...
"you keep on singing for the sake of the song" ... been there...
And it looks like the sorcerer is on his last journey for sure, so ...
I cast my vote for One of These Nights.
