I'm sorry, FP, but I thought that part was a scream!

I really enjoyed that. Very interesting indeed! Don just rolled out a laptop and showed you Glenn's earnings, just like that! I love it!!

It's funny, when you started by saying you had a dream about Don, I was about to post that Glenn is going to get jealous, but then I saw the piece I quoted above!

I'm not feeling that great today, but your dream just put a smile on my face! Thanks for sharing!

I've got a peaceful, easy feeling
And I know Glenn won't let me down

The thing about it is that in the dream I asked Don 'how's Glenn'; not 'how much does Glenn earn' or 'how much does he give to charity'. Don in his infinite wisdom rather than get involved in a discussion about Glenn's wellbeing decided to keep it 'strictly business'. I can't say I blame him ('dream Don' that is).

The part about the end of one of the Sydney shows is absolutely true & it was very nice of Don to show me that type of attention.

A few nights ago I had dream with Joe in it. I absolutely cannot remember what it was about but I know that he was there. This has got to be a first for me to forget a dream like that. And then the next night I know that I dreamed about Don but I don't remember that one either. I don't know what's happening to me. I almost always remember my dreams, especially the Eagley ones.

Aw, man! I hope they come back to you. Your dreams are always fun to read.

I had another crazy dream a while back but refrained from posting it at the time due to the fact that the very day after I had it, a tragic event happened that made it seem inappropriate to relate. I figure it's been long enough now though!

It's pretty weird, as usual. lol

My dream starts out with me in a bedroom watching TV. Scooby-Doo is on - the old school cartoon from the seventies [if you don't know what I'm talking about, you can watch the opening [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_C2HJvtRDY"]here[/ame] and get an idea of it]. Those of you familiar with the old show might remember they sometimes had "real-life" guest stars like the Harlem Globetrotters, cartoon-ized. Well, in this case, who should walk out of the Mystery Machine van to help the Scooby-Doo gang solve a mystery but the Eagles during the Hotel California era!

"Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!" I squeal. "I never knew they were on this! I've gotta record this!" I feel like I have discovered some precious rarity and I am desperate to capture it. Luckily, my TV is hooked up to a VCR. I grab a VHS tape lying by the TV, jam it into the VCR, and hit "record."

I'm really relieved until I suddenly realize that the tape I'm recording over is a rare Eagles concert, too! "Shoot, I gotta find a blank tape!" I scramble around my bedroom, but no blank tape is to be found. I run out of the room, thinking to look in other parts of the house.

However, after I run through the door, I'm suddenly in a really nice hotel lobby. I see the Scooby-Doo gang and the Hotel California era-Eagles waiting for an elevator. I'm very confused. Are they filming a Scooby Doo movie now? I wonder.

Despite how nonsensical this all is, it doesn't seem strange to me that they would be doing so, that I've arrived in a hotel lobby, or that they are thirty years younger than they should be. I'm only concerned about accidentally walking in on them.

Before I can decide what to do, Glenn spots me. "There you are! We've been looking for you. We're all guest-starring on Scooby Doo this week." I guess that answered that question.

Why am I included? I'm not an Eagle, I think, but I sure don't say that out loud! This is cool! Once again Glenn seems to answer my question.

"Nancy, we need you to introduce us to the girl senator you know. She's coming down in the elevator right now, so you're just in time."

For a second I hope this is part of the movie, but then I remember Glenn called me by name so it can't be. They all really expect me to introduce them to some person - who? Why would I tell these guys I know a female senator when I don't? I don't remember telling them that!

I see the elevator coming down. It's almost to the ground floor. Please, let it be Kay Bailey Hutchinson! I pray. [Note: She represents Texas in the US Senate.] When I was in college at Texas A&M University I was a political science minor and I did meet her briefly after she gave a speech there. Perhaps I told the guys that and they misunderstood? But why would Glenn call her a "girl" when she's older than he is? Why can't I remember what I told them?? If it's not her, I'm going to be absolutely mortified!

I swallow hard as the doors open. To my great relief, it IS Kay Bailey Hutchinson. As soon as she steps out of the elevator, I say, "Ms. Hutchinson, let me introduce you to Fred, Daphne, Velma, and Shaggy from Scooby-Doo, and these other gentleman are the Eagles."

"Nice to meet you - I love your show," she says to the Scooby Doo folks. Then she turns back to me. "Who are they again?" she asks, gesturing towards the Eagles.

They look unhappy that she didn't recognize them. I quickly say, "They're a band called the Eagles, Ms. Hutchinson. Musicians." I point to each one as I say their names. "That's Glenn Frey and Joe Walsh there, they play guitar and sing and do some other stuff too like keyboards. And the next two guys are both named Don but the guy on the right is Don Henley and he's a drummer and he sings too... and the guy on the left is Don Felder and he plays guitar. That's Randy Meisner and he sings and plays bass." I look around for Timothy and Bernie and don't see them - in my dream, I forget that they're not in the band at this time, lol. "There are two other guys in the band but they're not here now." The Eagles do not seem to find my statement odd. They're just smiling at Kay Bailey Hutchinson.

She nods, says "Nice to meet you, but I think we're blocking the elevator" and walks by them. The guys look like they feel kind of dissed. "And who are you?" She asks me. The guys look even more pissed off, this time at me.

BUSTED! I think, but I decide to try to play it off and hope she does the politician thing and pretends to remember me. "My name is Nancy, ma'am. I'm from Texas. We met at Texas A&M a while back. You were running for Senator, remember? Your speech was great! I bet you got a lot of votes that night..." Am I laying this on too thick? I think.

"Oh yes, of course!" she says and smiles. "Nice to see you again, Nancy."

This gives me confidence to try one more thing... "And Mr. Don Henley is from Texas, too, ma'am." I lower my voice. "The one with the afro and beard."

"Oh, really!" She turns back to him, smiling broadly. "Always nice to meet a fellow Texan, sir!" She reaches out to shake his hand. Don looks pleased and shakes hers.

SCORE! I think, then I notice everyone else seems to be rolling their eyes - even the Scooby Doo gang! I hope she is polite and shakes the rest of the guys' hands, too! I worry. They all wanted to meet her. But surely she will... she's a politician!

Unfortunately, before I could find out, the dream ended.

And that's it, folks. Weird, weird stuff!
