I agree - that picture of Glenn is smokin'!

I can't even choose a favourite of Don. They are all gorgeous.

    From OM's interview:

"the anger that was displayed, and the bitterness, especially from Glenn. It really left me taken aback that he was still so angry about all of that, and I couldn't understand why, to tell the truth. I've been way past it for about 10 years now."

Oh yeah Don? You can't understand why cause you got your millions you wanted! And 10 years? You've brought it up in lots of recent interviews!

Has any info ever leaked on what the lawsuit settlement was?

How do you stream it to the computer? I have On Demand, but it's not hooked up to my computer?

Of course he's going to present himself as totally over it and say Glenn is bitter. People do the same thing with their exes. Everybody wants to sound like they're the ones who are fine and the ex is the one who has issues.

So Felder paints himself as the big hearted man who is willing to forgive and forget, unlike that resentful meanie Glenn Frey. We're all supposed to respond with 'Aw Felder is definitely the better man here!' That's Emotional Manipulation 101 but it seems from the replies so far that nobody is buying it. I think that NOBODY is over it, not Glenn, not Don Henley, not Don Felder, NOBODY.

As for Felder's negative opinion of Glenn being 'validation' ~ That's like saying my grandpa's negative opinions of Obama are validated because they're shared by Mitt Romney. 'I knew Obama couldn't be trusted and it's not just me, Romney picked up on that too!'

I agree he didn't criticize it too badly though, he didn't even complain how the lawsuit was not even mentioned. Maybe that was agreed by both?

ETA: This is a response to the Billboard link not the ultimateclassicrock link which was done before he saw the final edit.

I think Glenn's anger in the doc was done to reflect how he was feeling at the time of the incidents. For both the the first breakup and firing DF. I didn't get the sense he was still angry. Was just reliving the moment a little which would naturally bring back some old feelings and probably trying to portray an accurate depiction of what happened from his perspective for authenticity reasons. I doubt he spends much time thinking about DF. Seems he's a pretty busy guy who's always focused on his next moves.

DF is no doubt hurt by all this. I love his playing. He brought a lot to the Eagles. Would of been nice if they could of worked out their differences. I have read his book several times. Actually watched the show again from DVR and would pause and go back through Heaven and Hell to try and see how the timelines and info would match up. Book is more detailed and the show couldn't possible cover as much without being a mini series but there are some interesting differences or omissions. It's more the tone and contradictions and what wasn't said that bother me about Heaven and Hell.

If anything the most disturbing singular moment of the film was when Henley called Felder by "Mr. Felder"... in "Mr. Felder was given many opportunities to sing".

My wife turned around and looked at me with a "Did he just call him MR FELDER?" look.

I found Henley's use of MR very odd. It didnt seem to be in a friendly respectful way. Am I alone on this?

Mind sharing the results of your comparison? It's been a long time since I read the book and I'm too lazy to do it myself.

Yea, that was a little weird. Not atypical of DH though. I'm sure GF and DH don't have warm fuzzy feelings toward DF.
