That was from the video shoot for "Taking You Home." It was filmed on location in East Texas and a lot of fans and people who used to know him came out, it seems. I don't know if that lady was a local or someone who worked on the video; from the clipboard, it seems she might have been a part of the crew rather than just a fan or a member of his friends/family.

Those look like some great pictures, but they are difficult to see because of their size. I thought they were thumbnail attachments that would be enlarged when you click on them, but that doesn't work for some of them.

It's a pity those photos of Don's family aren't bigger but his dad looked like a fine looking man from what I could tell.

Don has always been gorgeous and has aged very well. Below is a quote from Laura Jackson's The Eagles: Flying High talking about Don during the 'Long Run' era...

'A free agent again, Henley was accruing an almost legendary reputation in Hollywood for his charismatic sexual prowess. A striking-looking, intense man of intriguing depth, he was even more a magnet for the ladies.'

Needless to say I had to walk out in the cold, frosty air after reading that bit!

I know Don don't like people taking photos 0r filming at his concerts. I'd guess that he doesn't like people sharing private family snapshots either.:eyebrow:

Which makes me wonder how they (and I mean most all celebrities, not just Don or the other guys) control all that? I assume that everyone they deal with and even friends must sign some kind of privacy contract? You rarely ever see pictures of anyone in their family circle.

Does Don NEVER go out anywhere with his wife? We do get to see Glenn and Cindy and Joe and Marjorie from time to time. Even Tim and Jean. What about their kids? Never!

Aren't their some pictures of Don and Sharon together in the early days(probably when they were dating), but I guess that changed when they got married and had children.

I guess with Don living in Dallas, I guess the media(I doubt the local media in Texas would follow Don. If they did, we would had a lot of pictures of Don and his family) wouldn't bother him there like they would if they were in California or New York.

Don does seem to be very protective and private about his immediate family. Perhaps he asks that np pictures are taken of them and the local reporters are respectful of that. As shun said, not too sure he get the same treatment in L.A.

And to me, Don favors his mother a lot.

I forgot to add that there's an up to date picture of Sharon with Dan Rather at a fundraiser in Dallas from 2012 or 2013 (I can't remember which year. The picture was public), but I don't know where Don was at. Other than that picture, their isn't any other picture of Sharon or even a picture of her with Don other than that magazine article they did years ago.

There isn't just one Petroleum Club, there's several in the oil-rich state of Texas. You'll also find them in a couple other states as well. All were founded for the purpose of giving wealthy oil men a place to socialize (hence the name), but have diversified to include all sorts of wealthy people nowadays.

I wonder if the event planners realized that Don had poured contempt all over their members in a song fairly recently?

The most we got of Don was a glimpse of his chest with his shirt open slightly and the one with the band sitting around the pool for the Please come home for Christmas cover!! And I haven't forgotten famous topless burger pic :grin:

IlWhen I googled Glenn Frey for the first time,about 6 weeks ago and clicked on GFO, I had no idea of how much about Glenn that I would discover.
